Last night after the GOP debates, California 52nd district Congressman Duncan Hunter was hosted by 19th District state Senator Tom McClintock. Senator McClintock hosted a phone conference with California Republic members by invitation only. I was lucky enough to hear about it because I'm on the good Senator's mailing list.
Senator McClintock mixed his own commentary in with interview-style questions for Congressman Hunter, as well as soliciting questions from specific California family callers during the conference.
An outline of the plan is as follows:
Senator McClintock gave two web sites as places to visit:
Disclaimers: I'm not currently a CA Republic member, and I do not speak for them. I'm not in California anymore, but I'm still just as concerned for its future as I was when I lived there. Also, I have not joined the Duncan Hunter campaign yet, but he has definitely earned my respect.
BTTT!

Hunter is the man! He is standing up for us right now.
His son, also Duncan Hunter, is running for congress.
The campaigning is really just getting started. I’m confident that the best man will win. It’s very important that we think about conscience this time, and not convenience.
There is hope and we should never give up!

“If we were living in a world of adults that could read Duncan Hunter would be the front runner” ———RichardMoore
You got that right, and I might add that McClintock might well be the Governor of California. I am not a Californian but I saw the debates and he seemed to be the best. You think there might be a lesson in there somewhere for star-struck voters? If polls and posts mean anything it’s a lesson they haven’t learned. :)
This will be a totally different election. America is ready for a change.
“If we were living in a world of adults that could read Duncan Hunter would be the front runner. Instead we are bullied by the TV/video I want everything now mentality”
The only TV personality I’ve seen cut through the fluff is Ann Coulter. She supports Hunter.
Ann normally gets right to the issue, but most people don’t get to hear her, because Colmes chatters away at her in a defensive posture.
Not saying Ann can’t hold her own, just reinforcing your bullying by TV/Video comment.

Correct, time vote for the real conservative and not someone who can beat the Libs. If we take the latter route, we will end up in the same crap we have now, just more of it.

Radio talk show hosts John & Ken on KFI-640 AM in Los Angeles (http://www.johnandkenshow.com) are organizing a campaign to get U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) 30,000 phone calls opposing the illegal alien amnesty legislation being debated in the Senate currently (S. 1348). Feinstein has indicated that she would require 30,000 phone calls before she feels that “something is really going on” — (see Washington Times article below).
Feinstein is one of those senators who can carry other senators with her - her switch to oppose the amnesty would likely persuade enough other senators to do so as well. Yes, that is an uphill battle, but enough pressure may cause senators to see enforcement as the only choice right now.
Following is the link to Senator Feinstein’s contact form. She does not publish an email address, so you must this form to reach her:

Thank you, California Cowgirl. I heard Senator McClintock mention that 4,000 people were on the conference call. McClintock’s mastery of the latest electronic media, and his planning/leadership skills are showing. His endorsement of Congressman Hunter is one of the most impressive yet.
You’re welcome.
His website needs some enhancement, but it’s a start!
I know he’s still in the early phases.
Be sure to visit and complete this week’s poll:

Apparently, Hunter will be on the House floor at 10 AM talking about the shamnesty bill.
