On the other hand, Bush did expand Medicare to include a drug benefit—an increase in redistributionism, albeit with some market forces in play, IIRC. Who’s to say the next Republican president won’t be similarly opportunistic. Mitt Romney, for example, helped to impose a statewide health insurance regime in Massachusetts.

You make a point, but still, I don’t see the extreme in them that Hillary is suggesting. That lady truly wants Marxism. When she said that the oil companies make too much profit and when she is president that she’ll take those profits... I freaked. Profit is good. We are a free market. I think the Republicans do understand the free market, Hillary does not. That’s where the difference is.

No, he did not. People are all required to have health insurance, just as they are required to have car insurance.
