All it takes is 50.01% of the voting population that believes this is the right course to put her into office.

All it takes is 50.01% of the voting population that believes this is the right course to put her into office. With our electoral winner-take-all system it can take much less than 50%. All she has to do is barely win the states she won and completely lose the states she lost. The biggest 11 states for 271 electors, winning 50.1% in each, only represents 28% of the population.
