Ping?
Is it a bump, or a ping?
Bing.
Huhh?
I’m just trying to divert attention away from Paris Hilton and onto something interesting - like the Shuttle Launch.
Remember when the entire nation would watch with awe at each and every move NASA and the Astronauts made?
What happened to us....

I remember those days. They’re a thing of the past.
Frederick Sturckow, a Marine colonel, will command STS-117. The mission will deliver the second and third starboard truss segments (S3/S4) and another pair of solar arrays to the space station. Pilot Lee Archambault, an Air Force colonel, joins Sturckow in the Shuttles cockpit. Mission specialists James Reilly II, Ph.D., Patrick Forrester, Steven Swanson, Ph.D., and John D. Olivas, Ph.D., round out the crew. STS-117 is the 21st shuttle mission to the International Space Station.
Expedition 15 Flight Engineer Sunita L. Williams will return to Earth from the space station aboard shuttle mission STS-117. That flight will carry Expedition 15/16 Flight Engineer Clayton C. Anderson to the station. He will return home aboard Discovery on mission STS-120.
What’s shocking is that even at FR - Anna Nicole and Paris are bigger draws the NASA.
sigh
Sex will always win. Welcome to 21st-century NorthAm.
“Whats shocking is that even at FR - Anna Nicole and Paris are bigger draws the NASA.”
I guess NASA come and goes — but we’ll always have Paris.
(I’m sorry. I couldn’t resist. Does that make me a *bad* person?)
Can I use the same bad joke on that thread?
It’s your dime.
Anyone know if the launch track makes if visible in SE Virginia?
Welp she is a space cadet after all, so there definitely is a tie-in to that story.
