What a self-serving, selfish and ignorant person.

You are representing Idaho not California there Craig you moron.
If Americans don’t dump ALL the politicians that vote for this amnesty b.s. then they deserve what they get.
As for the politicians, they deserve what they get for supporting this abomination. Hopefully they fear for their jobs and safety.

is it pronounced Cray-POE
or is it Crap-o.
I would have changed it either way.

Why are politicians like diapers?
Because, they need to be changed frequently, or they start to stink.

Find a closed-borders conservative to challenge these RINOs in the primary.
We can defeat them. They have betrayed their oath and they think we should pin a medal on them.
It's like honoring Benedict Arnold wing of the GOP.

I spent a few years in Idaho as a child. Each fall school closed down for a week and all the kids (rich, poor, whatever) went to the fields to pick ‘spuds’. It was GREAT fun and we learned more about our classmates than we ever did in class and everyone made some $$$. There was no need for illegal labor. And it was GOOD for all of us.

"Then there's the other side," he continued. "There are times when you stand up and lead because there's a national problem."
I believe Craig is a true believer, because he knows Idahoans are extremely angry, but still forges ahead knowing this is probably his political death.
What I dislike about his stand is that he is taking the easy way which would include those who have come illegally. He believes there must be a some kind of deal. He believes this country needs Mexican/other workers to survive. After all we have murdered 17% of our population since 1973.
who else will do the extremely backbreaking jobs that these new illegals are doing? Like planting thousands of trees on these steep slopes around where I live? I know American citizens who have tried it, but they don't last 1 day.
I can't even find a teenager to come and do minimally easy jobs for $10 an hour.
Who else will replace all those 50 million + citizens who are gone now?
While I disagree with the amnesty for those who have broke our laws, and disrespected our values and our nation, I know in reality we have to have a way for others to come legally.

This is not over yet. Bush refuses to give up this easily. It's his stuborn character. He will try to resurect it and call it something else. We have to keep our guard up. We need to keep the pressure up.
STAGE TWO is to go after the people who hire illegals. Start giving them fines and arresting them. Just catch ten or 100 of them on the nightly news. The magnet will dry up and most of the 12 million will go home by themselves.
As an adendum, we should anonymously call the IRS, people working "off the books" means taxes ain't being paid. Make anonymous fliers and hang them around the neighborhood, name names. It's time to embarras these bustards, whether they give to the GOP or Rats, we don't need them.
STOP AMNESTY NOW!! WE CAN DO IT!!
CALL! CALL! CALL! CALL! AND KEEP CALLING TILL THE LINES FRY!
WRITE! WRITE! WRITE! WRITE! TILL YOU RUN OUT OF INK IN YOUR PEN!
Bombard the Democrats as well, especially the ones that ran on an anti illegal immigration plank and the ones in marginal districts who could be vulnerable. keep pounding on them. This is a bipartisan issue not a Conservative or Liberal issue BUT AN AMERICAN issue.

I hope the Senators and Reps from "BOTH" PARTIES who vote for this monstrosity all know they'll be heading for the unemployment office when this mess is over.
Bush won't have to worry - he'll no doubt be living in luxury in Paraguay, not caring that he sold America out.

More politicians on the dole, eh?
I like the idea of ending employment tax credits for those who hire illegals -- and the six month jail penalty, for repeat offenders.
Take that, Senator Big Spuds.

Greedy, immoral, spud packers need underpaid, illegal, spud pickers.
I picked beans in Idaho, once, and they didn’t pay American white boy enough to encourage him to pick a second bushel.

Craig, who is considering running for a fourth term next year, has championed the cause of the state's growers... If you look at the opinion of the distinct minority of those that favor the bill, only 9% cite the need for more workers. Importing Mexicans for cheap labor is the narrow monied interest of the few, essentially corruption.
