Kyra Sedgwick (The Closer) "hates" George Bush (Vanity)
Yet another DUmmie actor speaks out. Yesterday's "Inside the Actor's Studio" featured Kyra Sedgwick, who, when asked "what sound do you hate the most?" responded "George Bush's voice." (Paraphrased from memory)
My wife is a big fan of "The Closer." I can tolerate it because it's important to Mrs. MarineBrat. I mentioned to Mrs. MarineBrat just how ignorant it is for an "actor" to inject political beliefs into a discussion about acting. When it becomes more important to get a dig in than it is to avoid insulting half of the audience... brilliant! Brilliant!!! Oh, wait, she's not really smart like the character that she plays... she just acts that way. I hope it comes back to haunt her bad! (Which is why I posted this vanity anyway) :)

I'll tell you what sound I hate the most. The sound of Kyra Sedgwick's fake Southern accent on "The Closer." It's straight out of some Hollywood "accent coach," and it's SO wrong!
That said, I really wish GWB would have spent a little more time with the Toastmasters.

Our dislike of President Bush extends to his policy on immigration and lack of resolve for defending his judicial nominees.
Saying “I hate the sound of his voice” cuts it to the quick. “Can’t stand that man”. Bill Clinton and Al Gore repeatedly lied to her and the rest of America and yet she has more hatred of President Bush.
So we can assume why she hates the sitting President but gave a pass to other Presidents and contenders.
Sleeping with the enemy is the new Hollywood casting couch. Wouldn't want to be "politically incorrect" and get blacklisted...
Thanks for posting this. I actually like the show and it has been one of the few things that I watch regularly and now I won’t.
It’s not that I fly into some sort of rage over these dopes. It’s just that, when they say things like this, it sticks in my mind and I just no longer take any pleasure in watching them...so I don’t.
