Ah, the conversion on the road to Des Moines.
What about 2002?
Where was Willard then?

Then you will be deceiving yourself and no one else.
No he did not say it. Your quote is not accurate.
I reviewed the tape. The quote is not accurate.
Of course we do. He has a perfect pro-life voting record.
It’s going to be an interesting primary season. I’m on the fence still, just waiting for Fred to jump in and start talking. :)
I mean....what do we have here? Seriously?
Fred Thompson stated it on the Tonight Show last night. He said he was not participating in the debates because they were demeaning to the office of the Presidency. I heard it. The quote is accurate.
The quote is false. I have the tape. You have transcribed it incorrectly, and intentionally so I suspect.
You have public statements of his pro-life position.
Do you believe him?
I relationship to his previous positions....?
More than I would believe Fred. There’s a lot of information coming out on his own abortion flip flops and he has not to my knowledge come out with a publicly stated pro-life position.
Here are two links.

The quote was accurate, but your understanding of it is off in left field. Fred was talking about they style of the debates. Fred never said he would not participate in the debates, so you are just being a bold face liar with that mis- characterization, but what else is new.
The quote is NOT accurate. She is paraphrasing him...badly.
Those words do not belong in quotation marks because he did NOT say them.
Newt Gingrich said about the same thing. ``This idea of demeaning the presidency by reducing it to being a game show contest ... is wrong for America, and I would never participate in it.’’ Thompson did say something about the format being demeaning to the Presidency by having the candidates raise their hands so they can speak.
Fair enough......
Frankly I won't vote for Mitt..in the primaries. IF he makes it that far.....
Can't shake the thinking he's saying what he thinks his audience wants to hear. Of course that's not unusal for a politician..but I expect....( sadly...NOT THAT I WILL GET...) more.
I am also very uncomfortable with the amount of the IMO, seemingly blind following of Mitt...especially so amongst some FReepers. Strangely...I think many are willing to vote for him...because he looks nice, and has a seemingly strong marriage or based solely on his Mormonism. Not unlike my mother voting for Slick Clinton...cause "He looks and sounds nice"...
Been fooled too many times...and my radar is on alert!
I want to see and hear Thompson more.....None of the others have a chance in heck..IMO.
FWIW-
Yes he did.
But her quote is FALSE.
MM is a double agent or a stupid operative. She blew Bush1 second run and many after that. I also shudder to think of the things she does to the troll of the left.
Has Mitt been out in public in a dress?
Thank you.
but your understanding of it is off in left field. Fred was talking about they style of the debates.
Perhaps.
Fred never said he would not participate in the debates,
He gave the impression he was not planning to participate in the primary debates. I'll tell you what. Youtube pulled the video and the transcripts are not available yet. I'll pull the quote until I read the transcripts again. If my quote is correct I'll put it back up.
so you are just being a bold face liar with that mis- characterization,
Personal attacks are not necessary.
but what else is new.
Produce a quote where I have lied or retract.
