Nice and cool here in PA after some storms. Gonna get hot next week.
The race last week was the worst I have ever seen. It almost seemed fixed. They had 4 hours of daylight remaining to get some laps in. Pure Horse Puckey.

cuz by the time race day comes, it will be showing the current weather...every time you reload this thread, the radar will update also! Planning ahead so some folks around here can HAVE ENOUGH BEER! in case it rains they got something to drink while they watch the radar thing go around and make blips on the screen. I think it has something to do with the colors.

Appreciate the head-up on the news about the JR car. Jr moving to Hendricks is the news of the year! I'm happy for him and hope the new owner arrangement allows Jr to be the best he can be.

I was listening to the podcast for Rowdy Racing, and they had a lot of good points about Shrub. He is without a doubt one of the most talented drivers out there. But he still drives recklessly and crashes too often.
Hendrick tried to get him to mature, and Shrub took a stab at it, but without heart. He acts entitled, not a team-player, and there is great doubt he could or would ever change.
One team reportedly wanting him desperately is Ginn. They think that teaming him with Mark Martin might rein him in.
Reportedly DEI wants any top ten driver they can get their hands on, of which Shrub is a member.
I personally think that Shrub could be one of the all-time greats. But he has to grow up.
I think the true young superstar right now is Denny Hamlin.

Of course, fans of the 48 and 24 already are bitching that Casey and Junior are in front. But JJ is happy Junior is now in the HMS fold. Says he's known about the negotiations for some time. ESPN article.
