I’ve been to many doctors, mostly men. Only one of them ever did anything sexually inappropriate. That one happened to be a woman. What kind of woman wants to spend her life looking at (and touching) other women’s bodies? Mostly professional women who want to heal, just like most of the men who choose to be doctors. There are some bad people in every profession, and not all of them are men. Not all men are bad. If I had researched that doctor, instead of just accepting the one I was assigned, I would have known about her reputation ahead of time, instead of hearing about it later from all the people who already knew. So don’t be so hard on others for getting to know their doctors before trusting them.
Except that's not what I said. Besides, I'm sure all the parents whose children were molested by the man in this article were sure they knew him.
