Such nice folks hamas.

“There will be no dialogue with Fatah, only the sword and the rifle,” Nezar Rayyan, a top Hamas leader, told Hamas radio on Thursday. “This is a battle between Muslims and nonbelievers, and God willing, we will lead the Friday prayer in the president’s office, and transform the (Fatah-controlled) security complex into a big mosque.”

I just can’t decide who to root for here. I’ll think about it for a good long while.

Well, we could help, but we need to take it to Congress for approval. Two months later, we’ll go to the U.N. for another month and a half of talks. So, we’ll get back to you.

Hmmm...how many Fatah members are against our support of Israel.

Israel gives safe passage to the West Bank to Fatah leaders, making sure that 'Palestine' is divided, and conquerable.

Besides, there will be enough Fatah guerilla fighters left in Gaza to make sure that Hamas never gets peaceful control of it. Fatah has a sixty-year training period fighting Israel in this manner, they will be more than ready to use it on Hamas.

At some point in the future, when the eyes of the world are on the burning cities of Europe, or the smoking ruins of Tehran, or the Russian's 'final solution' to the islamunists in their lands, the Israelis can bump off the rest of Gaza.

Can someone please explain to me what it means to dissolve the Gov’t and declare state of emergency in this situation?

What is it intended to accomplish in a hellhole like the Gaza Strip?

Its Allah’s will that these two groups fight. Don’t want to go against Allah.

I can. Fatah, for all their failings, is more of a left-wing nationalist organization with an Islamic foundation. They have guranteed religious freedom for Christians in Palestine, and are at least willing to discuss some sort of peace with Israel.

Hamas is a hardcore AQ linked Islamist group that refuses to even consider peace. They're behind the ongoing attacks against Israel, they declare that they won't stop until the Jews are driven into the sea, and they have openly declared that all Jews and Christians should be driven out of the middle east or be forcibly converted.

I hope Fatah wins, simply because they're the lesser of two evils. A Fatah-run Palestine is a pain in the ass. A Hamas-run Palestine means a resumption of all out war against Israel.
