Thursday, June 14, 2007 RNC Chairman Responds to Harry Reid Calling Military Leaders "Incompetent"
WASHINGTON – RNC Chairman Robert M. “Mike” Duncan released the following statement today in response to Harry Reid’s recent comments on American military leaders:
“Harry Reid doesn’t understand that there are some lines you just don’t cross. There is room for him to express reasonable disagreement about our path forward in Iraq. But to attack our military is unacceptable. To attack General Petraeus, the man actually leading our troops on the ground, is reprehensible. And to call the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, someone who has served our nation for his entire adult life with honor and distinction, ‘incompetent’ is beyond the pale. Harry Reid once said ‘This war is lost.’ What he’s really lost, apparently, is any semblance of respect he might have once had for the best and bravest armed forces in the world.”

Good comment by the RNC. Every GOP candidate, Senator and Represenatitve should beat on this. Don’t let Reid get away with it.
Dirt Bag Reid needs to get off the moonbat parade and go home. He has worn out his welcome too often. He should apologize and resign as Majority Leader for his disparaging remarks.
If there was any doubt for what Dems think of our military (I still am pissed about Mrs Bill Clinton ordering White House military attaches to act as bus boys), this should clear things up.
Words escape me, and reid qualifies for leadership by just being in office a long time.

Here’s hoping Reid DOES run for re-election. Even though Nevada may be becoming a “purple state,” I doubt it will send him back to DC if the GOP can mount a decent campaign.
