You can argue about some of them. But I think there’s no question that Trent Lott and Lindsey Graham have to go.
Too bad about Lott, because he has a lot of seniority and knowledge, but I can only conclude that Hillary has his FBI files and that other blackmail materials are out there. There’s no other way to explain his behavior since the impeachment trial.
That’s a long time to have such a useless **** taking up major space in the party. Why on earth was he restored to a position of power? (Rhetorical question.)

Nah, he's just been there too long, and considers himself one of the ruling elites. Elitism trumps party affiliation.
I think Linseed is done for. One of the lessons we have learned from the Bush years is to not fall for the line that we have to support RINO incumbents against conservative primary challengers, e.g., Spectre and Chafee. Get a conservative challenger in SC and GET RID of Grahamnesty in the primary, so we don’t have to choose between a skunk and a weasel.
You may need to support RINOs in a state like Maine, if they are good RINOs and follow the party leadership on key votes. They have to pretend to be liberal down the line in order to get elected.
But you sure as heck don’t need to support a RINO like Graham who actually has to pretend to be a conservative to get elected. You don’t need a RINO in a state where electing a reasonable conservative is possible.
Specter isn't running again and wouldn't be up until 2010.
McCain won't be running for reelection until 2010.
Lott isn't running again too, but his reelection wouldn't be until 2012.
