I wonder if NBC or PMSNBC will tout their own polls...on air?
“We need more political parties to choose from or no parties at all. No one seems happy with what the current two party oligarchy does.”
I’d be happy to start with better people and term limits for congress and senate people. We have a quality issue in D.C. People with super inflated ego’s but lacking in substance and leadership. The entire climate is repulsive and the truely solid leadership people of this republic, who have the credentials and skills to make a difference, prefer to shy away. After all, if a person is skilled and successful, why would they ever want to become a D.C. pimp? It’s a big step down to sell your soul while collaborating with second rate people
Mortgage lenders, car salesmen, Congress.
All the RATS keep yapping about Bush’s low poll numbers, but harry reid’s 19% hardly ever comes up.
I really miss Carnac. Johnny Carson is sorely missed in my household.
One that I remember off the top of my head....
Holds envelope to head and says: “HUT-Two-Three-Four”
..
..
..
..
..
..
..
..
Opens envelope and reads question: “What’s the address of the hut next to hut-two-three-two?”
I’ll give Congress 2:1 odds of hitting zero first, but the Bush Administration is making a great effort, and shouldn’t be counted out.
Have you got a source for that? I would love to know what Pelosi’s is too.
That is it, exactly--"the Washington government." America has arrived at the point of a ruling class against the People. An oligarchic pack who, once having been elected, seek never to be accountable again.
For years I have been skeptical about those who have insisted that there is really only one party, the "demicans" or "republicrats" or whatever neologism suited them. I used to laugh at it but I no longer find it a laughing matter.
We don't need a mere change in the "majority," we need an upheaval. America needs a regime change in the fullest sense of the word.
I heard it on FOX from Brit Hume.
Well if Brit said it I would trust him on it. Which leaves the question, why in the bloody hell don’t we fire all these morons instead of re-electing them????
Are the people in this country that collectively retarded?
Last Oct., a pollster called me and asked whether I approve of President Bush. I said, “No, I think he’s too liberal.” I think that, when someone tells a pollster that he or she disapproves of Bush, the pollster should ask whether he’s too liberal or too conservative. The majority of the people who disapprove might think that he’s too liberal, but many of the pollsters work for the MSM and wouldn’t consider that, since the pollsters are liberal.
How to save Congress:
1 - Demand Congressional districts be as Rectangular as possible
2 - Increase the number of seats in the House
3 - Repeal the popular election of Senators.
While I agree with your list, the real danger is that the lenders and car salesman don’t make laws that only benifit themselves and when they get caught stealing they are arrested and go to jail unlike the theives and liers in the sewer called Washington.
I agree. I wish they would just do away with the parties and just run on their own merit.
