Mitt must be a lot weaker than the media wants us to believe.

He is.

Haven't we learned by now, the MSM always tries to get GOP'ers to nominate the weakest possible candidate? They did it in 1996, feeding everyone a line about how much gravitas Dole would bring to a GOP presidential race, when they knew that Dole was Clinton's best chump.

Clinton and Dick Morris had done a ton of market-testing and polling using that Chinese PLA reptile money Slick got from Jiang Zemin, and the result was that Clinton should try to get Dole nominated in the GOP. So that's when the media started putting their two cents in, in August 1985, four and a half months before the Iowa caucus and five minutes after they got off the phone with Slick Central.

New Hampshire? "Doesn't matter." Iowa? "Doesn't matter." California? "That's just one poll."

I really don't buy into that one robo poll which is so out of whack with every other poll. I have still not had one Romney fan who wants to bet me that Romney will beat Fred in the primaries. Not one.

"not contributing"

If Amnesty gets signed into law, the GOP can probably forget about the pipsqueak donors too.

Thompson is beating Romney right now and will beat Romney come primary time. I got $10, $100 or even $1000 that says so.

If Thompson beats Romney in the primary, the next President will be a Democrat.

Betting on Thompson is like betting against your favorite team in sports. Even if you win, you lose.

If Thompson wins, we lose. Making a run for the Presidency is a long, grueling process, and frankly, Thompson doesn’t have the intestinal fortitude to do it.

Romney does.

However, I am very impressed by Mitt’s management skills and his campaign team.

That's not a reason to vote for/support someone. If John McCain had deep "management skills" and a crack campaign team, would you just fall into line behind him? If he announced he was for hard-line gun control, eugenics, and state ownership of production, what would his skills portend then?

If she did not have those going for her she would be under Obama's bulldozer by now.

Well, it's their party, but one can only pray. For the bulldozer.

Hillary would destroy Mitt in the general election.

Just totally destroy him.

Guys this is to give Hillary the presidency, divide the party and get republicans to not show up for elections. We had Bush Sr, Clinton, Clinton, Bush Jr. Bush Jr, now ... Baton goes to Hillary.

Vote Ron Paul if you are really mad about immigration. They don’t want him in the presidency, and BUSH doesn’t care. Bush is trying to do something so he can implement MARTIAL LAW. He wins either way.

Congress needs to stop all lawmaking and impeach BUSH.

Vote for Ron Paul in enough numbers would stop them in their tracks.

Complete and utter bullcrap that is spewed by the Romneynites. Thompson's style is far more suitable to attrack moderate voters and his voting history is far more suitable for getting the social conservatives out to vote. Social conservatives don't trust Mitt, rightly or wrongly, and Mitt comes across to moderate voters as a phony politician who will say whatever they want to hear.

I’d take that bet for $100.

Cool, I already have a place saved in my bank account for it.

The only person that has a chance to stop Hillary is Ron Paul because he has strong support from both parties

They already have. Back in 1988.

Oh, PLEASE!!

You Ron Paul guys are such a pain in the butt, spamming everything in sight.

Your guy's as unelectable as Abe Lincoln, and for the same reason. He's politically dead, especially from the neck up.

I could argue with your revisionist history vis a vis Rudy’s Senate run against Hillary, but what’s the point?

Rudy won’t win the Republican nomination nor will Mitt — the Republican base won’t support another RINO after eight years of President Bush. Fred Thompson will win the nomination if he wants it enough to work for it.

Should Thompson not win the nomination, for whatever reason, Hillary will become President. Lacking a conservative in the race, the Republican base will simply stay home and give it to the Demoncrats rather than reward another wolf in sheep’s clothing. It may not be politically rational, but it is principled.

You’re going to laugh your way to a Hillary Presidency. Cause nothing else is going to stop her. People need to put aside petty differences and get united behind the constitution. After we complete that we can go back to petty differences.

Hopefully you’ve put *my* $100 aside so that you can pay up when the time comes around.
