Hmmm, very smart, very competent, good looking...but is that what we Republicans really want? Tancredo's a decent enough guy but is he really saying "vote for me, I'm not terribly good looking and of average intelligence?" I'd love to see that on a bumper sticker.

Democrats on Romney and his imposition of HillaryCARE on Mass. citizens (without their vote, of course):
Sen. John Kerry to Don Imus: "I like this health care bill".
Sen. Hillary Clinton: "To come up with a bipartisan plan in this polarized environment is commendable."
James Carville: "It's a feel-good story, this Romney thing. Romney is an ascendant guy."

“Being smart, being competent, being showy. Are those qualifications, as Republicans, we want?”
LOL! Is Tancredo endorsing Romney?

Hey, at least Diogenesis criticism of Romney was a little more poignant than Tancredo’s criticism.
If that’s all that the Romney-bashers can come up with, he’s going to sail to victory in the primary.

Mitt's health care plan is pro-free market, anti-freeloader.
It's conservative to the core.
Unless you're a freeloader. Are you a freeloader? Do you neglect to buy health insurance, spend your money on cheap beer and lotto tickets, and then go to the emergency room to get free antibiotics for a sore throat?

"Mitt's health care plan is pro-free market, anti-freeloader."
The CBS News story I saw on it profiled some poor woman who became the first person under the bill to recieve free healthcare paid for by Massachusetts' taxpayers. Anti-freeloader? No way.

Being smart, being competent, being showy. Are those qualifications, as Republicans, we want?He REALLY said that, and intended it to be a slam.
Unbelievable.
Mitt needs more slams like that. Many more.

Romney signs off on permanent assault weapons ban "Deadly assault weapons have no place in Massachusetts. These guns are not made for recreation or self-defense. They are instruments of destruction with the sole purpose of hunting down and killing people."

Under the HR10/22 bill regulating gun sales my Ruger 10-22 semi automatic .22 caliber rifle (amazing coincidence that the bill has the same designation) will be designated an assault weapon. If Romney is anti gun I’m anti Romney.

I’d like to have seen the rest of the interview. His point seemed to be that Mr. Romney is a good guy but has some faults that we don’t want in a president. He was likely saying that Mr. Romney’s outward appearances are great but don’t compensate for those faults.

Romney Care = Medicare for Mass residents. I think Massachusetts was one of the first states force “No Fault Auto Insurance" on its drivers...we all know how that turned out.

You sir are very confused about the definition of Conservative. You must think “No Fault Auto Insurance” falls into the conservative column.
