Amen!
Here! Here!
Good for you King.
I left the GOP a year ago. I left President Bush two weeks ago.
But I ain’t leaving my country to be screwed over by a bunch of cowardly, elitist weasels in Washington, DC.
Good reply. Hope someone is reading your reply and others like it. If they don’t they’re whistling past the graveyard.

I’m ready for the next letter fron the RNC. I have three 20 peso notes ( about $1.80). I’ll mail one to them.
Good...you speak for a LOT of us (not a LOTT of us).
>>I’m a lifelong Republican voter, so it pains me to tell you that I’m quitting the GOP.<<
I’m a lifelong Republican voter myself. It seems so long ago that I was proud to call myself a “dyed-in-the-wool Republican”.
I am ashamed of what the party has become. I feel I have to go out of my way to explain to my liberal friends that the Republican party does not represent me. I never thought that day would come, but it has.
I can finally empathize with what conservative Democrats must have been going through when the scales fell from their eyes, and they saw their party descending into what it is now.
I stepped away from the GOP last year. The GOP isn’t the party I first started working with when I was 17 years old eager to turn 18.... so... I could vote for President Ronald Reagan in 1980.
Hey GOP: GFY.
Good luck with that. Once you're on the list, you're on the list. :)
Stay mad and stay focused - I fax, call and e-mail every day those who are playing this game only immigration bill...why is it Ted Kennedy is to be obeyed and not the citizens of America....get mad and get behind those few stalwart Senators who are trying to do the right the right thing. Cut and run????? I don't think so..............
Good job!!
Salute!
Ouch! It wouldn't hurt, if it weren't true.
Come to think of it, I registered as an Independent when I went to vote after moving back to Alaska. I’ve always felt uncomfortable about calling myself a “Republican.” Looks like the “Suspicions Confirmed Dep’t” has finally become a reality.
The Republican party has squandered their entire time as the majority because they acted as a minorty.
The first time in 5 years that I can remember them having any sort of backbone - is on the earmarks. That will be short lived in the minds of the voters.
Unless and until they gather enough “courage” to come up with an agenda that is comparable to the conservative agenda that Newt Gingrich spearheaded and unite in front of every camera, in every newspaper and in every town hall - they will not only continue to lose elections but will deserve to lose.
Most people in the US are Pro-life, Pro-military, Pro-religion and pro-family and anti-illegal aliens. But day in and day out they hear the opposite from the liberals on TV, radio and in the newspaper and only silence from the Republicans. This leaves people wondering if their silence is because they feel guilty or don’t care about those issues.
in 1994 - when the Republicans began talking about all those issues, they were winning. We now know what the Democrats are against but we don’t know what the Republicans are for or against.
Jorge Bush is not going to unite them so they need to become independent and start thinking for themselves and quit waiting for him to take the lead.
