"Teenage abstinence was dismissed as an unwise choice and indicative of religious hang-ups."

It's because Sex Positive teaching advocates consider sexual pleasure a birthright and want to end all moral judgements over sexual pairings. They want everyone to "get it on" at every age.

They consider abstinence an unhealthy supression of sexual desires.

They've come for your children. But some on FR are quite ok with teen sex and a double standard in statutory rape laws. Age of consent laws are being slowly whittled away. Just another culture war battle being waged.

Some on FR incorrectly think that hating the Clintons and voting Republican makes them conservatives.

Some ask the question why teen sex can’t be viewed through biblical mores, which made it possible to emancipate the female at 12 and the male at 13.
