Why aren't we out-sourcing our politicians? (Burt Prelutsky)

The other day, I had an argument with someone over the out-sourcing of American jobs. It was his contention that anything that promoted capitalism around the globe was a good thing while I contended that even though capitalism was the best economic system ever invented, if only because it didn’t make the fatal error of idealizing human nature, it had its failings. One of its more obvious flaws is that it encourages corporate executives, for the sake of their own stock portfolios, to sacrifice the jobs of decent, hard-working Americans. Where I come from, profits do not trump patriotism...

Actually the SCOTUS has outsourced our politicians....don’t you know, Mexico’s legislative decisions are more important than those of the Texas state legislature?

Yes, in fact, the socialist activists on the SCOTUS just love how European socialists run their “judicial judgement processes” so they base their decisions on certain matters on how the Euro-pinkos judge things, as opposed to United States written law. Isn’t that sweet???

Our government has really lost its way, and drifted away from the Constitution, our laws, and even obeying them...

Why Aren’t We Outsourcing Our Politicians?

What an intriguing idea!

Too many politicians, not enough statesmen.

I’m a free market guy, so I don’t have a problem with outsourcing in theory. However, in practice, the results are mixed, for consumers that is.

As I understand it, we outsource Dick Morris and James Carville types to other countries.

As I understand it, in the California GOP, a non-citizen has been hired on H1B to work for the California GOP .... and who hired him? ..... Another non-citizen who works for the California GOP?

Bill Clinton was lobbied by Indonesians and Chinese. In turn, he lobbies all over the world, as does Al Gore.

Why outsource them?

They are already doing the job that Americans don’t want them to do!
