Important paragraph:

Bush also pulled a bait-and-switch. He always spoke of amnesty as something that would be extended to illegal aliens who’ve been here a long time and paid their back taxes. But the bill he supports gives amnesty to people who crashed the border as recently as six months ago, and it drops the part about back taxes.

What gets me is these people saying, "We've got to do something now!" Where have you all been for, oh, the last freakin' twenty years? Suddenly the status quo has become unacceptable and an emergency that has to be fixed in the next ten minutes?

Now, if he would only just go away.

Here’s hoping we can hold off the immigration bill until he goes away. It’s fascinating to me that Bush has managed to infuriate the only people in this country who still supported him, conservatives. Talk about a tin ear.

If the GOP wants to commit political suicide by voting for a bill backed by 20% of the public, that's their choice. No one is asking them to sell out the country to provide Jorge W. with a questionable legacy.

At some point, this conservative is starting to think along these lines..."If Bush cannot be trusted with protecting the US from invasion, when he has proven to be mendacious beyond doubt.... why did I trust him to conduct a foreign war?"

Bush Urges Hispanics To Speak Up

Not only is he busy betraying his supporters, he wants the illegals to help him in his efforts. The man has no shame whatsoever.

How Eisenhower solved illegal border crossings from Mexico

I Like Ike.

The immigration giveaway

Take the Pledge: "I pledge to never, ever vote for anyone, for any office, who votes in favor of the Mexican Invasion Surrender Bill."

The penalty for being politically tone-deaf is death of one's political career. Amnesty for illegal immigrants--which means any path to any sort of permanent legal residency of any kind (let alone citizenship,) regardless of cost--is worse than the "third rail of politics." It's the Guillotine.

There is something very wrong about wanting this horrible bill so badly.

Clout? It's the Subversive UnAmerican Latino organization lobbyists that have more "clout" with our President than 'We The People' do.

I never thought I'd see this happen.

It’s not amnesty. It’s a massive Presidential Pardon.

I remember hearing about how George Jr. bankrupted Robusto Oil company and another oil company. He traded Sammy Sosa on the Texas Rangers just as Sammy was becoming a superstar. That was then, this is now. WOW! He really needs to go back to Crawford, TX. so that this long national nightmare can end.

George Sr. used Georgy Jr. to fire John Sununu and others. I remember watching Georgy Jr. on TV as he ripped the head off of an endangered bird after he shot it while hunting. Also, I remember when Pat Robertson, (who is one of George Jr’s main crack whores) begged him not to kill Carla Fay Tucker who was a “born again Christian” who had been convicted of murder. Bush Jr. killed her and laughed an evil laugh about how she begged him to spare her life. Even the warden of the prison said Carla was rehabilitated; there was no need to kill her.

It has been one long gut ache with him as president.

Bush wants to pardon 20 million illegal aliens which include gang members, felons, child molesters, fraud perpetrators, drug runners, smugglers etc.....but won’t pardon a handful of border patrol agents and law enforcement officials or Libby.

The question is no longer "when" or "why" but, "how" do we impeach and convict this traitor?

This is not over yet. Bush refuses to give up this easily. It's his stubborn character. As I predicted he would try to resurrect it and call it something else. We have to keep our guard up. We need to keep the pressure up. We have no choice but to fight. The oligarchy wants cheap labor and a destruction of the middle class and the millionaire democrats want votes they can count on. A marriage made in HELL.

STAGE TWO is to go after the people who hire illegals. Start giving them fines and arresting them. Just catch ten or 100 of them on the nightly news. The magnet will dry up and most of the 12 million will go home by themselves.

As an addendum, we should anonymously call the IRS, people working "off the books" means taxes ain't being paid. Make anonymous fliers and hang them around the neighborhood, name names. It's time to embarrass these bustards, whether they give to the GOP or Rats, we don't need them.

CALL! CALL! CALL! CALL! AND KEEP CALLING TILL THE LINES FRY!

WRITE! WRITE! WRITE! WRITE! TILL YOU RUN OUT OF INK IN YOUR PEN!

Bombard the Democrats as well, especially the ones that ran on an anti illegal immigration plank and the ones in marginal districts who could be vulnerable. keep pounding on them. This is a bipartisan issue not a Conservative or Liberal issue BUT AN AMERICAN issue.

STOP AMNESTY NOW!! WE CAN DO IT!!

The best way to stop Shamnesty

Bush has failed to uphold the laws of the land that he swore an oath to uphold. He is a criminal, IMHO. The crimes he is committing against Americans are worthy of being tried as a traitor, and sentenced accordingly.
