In response, Nicholas Burns, an undersecretary of state who is the chief U.S. strategist on Iran, told the group that negotiations with Tehran could still be going on when Bush leaves office in January 2009. No way the ruling oligarchs are going to let Bush create another quagmire in Iran.

So that means we will have to deal with a nuclear Iran.

Btw, Burma also wants nukes now as well.

That shouldn't surprise us, although many will be surprised. ...also Syria, Sudan and any other nations that Iran has promised to provide them to.

There’s a good chance that our State Department and CIA will learn about this *from your post*.

They will give a press conference, in which they will express “surprise” that Burma would want nukes...

Read between the lines in my last blog entry and you will get a better picture of how ineffective our nation's CIA and State Department is.

Ohhhh, yeah... I’m at a loss why W just doesn’t get it on the porous border and its inevitable consequences. And why he thinks (and insists that WE should think) that the “systems” the new bill will put into place will work. They (state, CIA, homeland security) are utterly incompetent and they don’t even suspect it.

By the way your blog is excellent. I have visited it before today but haven’t been back in awhile.

I love the Paris Hilton == succubus line BTW.
