We don’t need more immigration laws that won’t be enforced. We need to strictly enforce the existing immigration laws!
Exactly. But this is all "slight of hand". They have every intention of enforcing the new laws JUST LIKE the old laws.
While I agree with your thinking on what needs to happen to illegals, I disagree about the need for additional laws.
We do need a few additional laws, and here they are:
1. Hiring an illegal should become a federal crime and carry with it a one year minimum prison term, per offense.
2. Providing an illegal with any sort of taxpayer-funded services, including education, should be made a federal crime carrying a one year minimum prison term, per offense. The only exception should be emergency medical care for an individual whose life is legitimately at immediate risk.
3. Any city or state that establishes itself as a “sanctuary” for illegals...by legislation or action...should lose every time of federal money.
4. Any Church that provides support for illegals should lose any and all tax exempt status.
HEAR HEAR!
We can not trust them to enforce existing legislation, what makes us think they will enforce and fund new legislation.
If this new bill passes, the only thing that will be enforced and funded is amnesty.
