A Tale Around the Outhouse (Illegal Immigration Is Killing US!)
New Media Journal ^ | June 16, 2007 | Buster Jiggs

Posted on 06/17/2007 5:09:20 AM PDT by GFritsch

I have been sitting here reading “Best of the Immigration Fact Check: Top 10 Common Myths” published June 8, 2006 on the White House web site. Point by point brought up by the in-house Reconquista there, I asked questions. But then, the questions became repeated.

The White House and Congress have had 42 years to straighten out the problem of illegal immigration. Now President Bush, John McCain and Ted Kennedy are telling us they will take care of everything, everything, with this sweeping immigration reform bill.

My question is HOW!

Forty-two years is an awful long time. And in the time 3,000,000-plus illegals have been given amnesty while another 12-20 million more illegals have invaded our country. It took a few of these illegals two attempts to bring down the World Trade Center. One succeeded. Illegals drove an airliner into the Pentagon.

Our southern border is with a country that has an inept, incompetent government that harbors resentment against us because of their envy and the incompetence all of their preceding governments since Santa Anna. They live on the premise of “you give, we take” form of governing as they take from their citizens and give them nothing in return. They pander to the American politician hoping that they can distract the American citizen from the fact that Mexico wants to takeover the American southwest. Or are our politicians in bed with them.

In the meantime, we have politicians, including the great and wonderful President George W. Bush, working with Robert Pastor, to build a North American Union with their Security and Properity Program (SPP).

Included in that plan is the probable confiscation of a strip of land from Laredo, Texas right through the middle of the United States to Kansas City, Missouri and beyond to Canada. It includes giving Mexico exclusive control over a segment of Kansas City as a port for the inspection of goods rolling on that strip of land that will be roughly 1200 feet wide. That is almost a quarter of a mile wide. They are trying something like that right down here in Yuma, Arizona with Union Pacific Railroad.

I am sorry but I do not buy allowing any country so much power over my country. It is obvious that Mexico is poorly governed. The government of Mexico has no control over roughly 35 of their own states. These states are controlled by a paramilitary group known as Zeta, and several drug cartels. And our government is going to trust that Mexico can properly inspect containers and trucks coming up from their Pacific port. Hell, our own government cannot or will not even do that.

This new amnesty program the politicians are flaunting as sweeping immigration reform is nothing more than more dumbing down of our school systems, destruction of our hospitals and social programs and depressing of wages for the American taxpayer. To reject this bill will be almost as great an accomplishment as was the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the production and ratification of the US Constitution of the United States. There is nothing good about this bill and WE THE PEOPLE need to insure that our politicians understand that this program, this bill that is worth nothing more that to find its way to the outhouse will be defeated or those who sidle up to President Bush, John McCain and Ted Kennedy should start looking for a new profession.

The anger towards our politicians isn't just about the millions of illegal hispanics. The same route to the USA is trod by our muslim enemies.

And the politicians wonder why We the People are so skeptical of them. Administration after administration, congress after congress have done nothing but pass toothless, unenforced legislation and give lip service, but we’re supposed to believe that THIS TIME it will be different. You know what they say about doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result...

I post a cartoon because the frustration is getting to extreme levels. Not just at politicians but there are a lot of Americans who are falling for this and are too intellectually lazy to think about the consequences of what is about to happen.

We don’t need more immigration laws. that They won’t be enforced with anymore veracity than the current immigration laws. We need to strictly enforce our existing immigration laws!

The laws on the book are fine, we need to add to them. For example on the guest worker program why haven’t our law makers amended it to define them as guest only and stop the anchor baby problem?

there are a lot of Americans who are falling for this and are too intellectually lazy to think about the consequences of what is about to happen.

In 1996 I temporarily expatriated myself abroad due to the travesty of Bill Clinton's re-election. "What could my fellow citizens be thinking? Are they stupid? Nuts?"

I had a very long and satisfying reprieve from American news and politics. It was a good thing at the time.

The passage of Shamnesty will be at least a magnitude beyond the destructiveness of a Clinton administration. If Shamnesty passes and George Bush signs it, I see the damage as being irreversable. It won't take too long after that for Americans to see the "consequences" of their torpor and naivete.

So while there are several details to be completed, we have taken the precaution of buying a home abroad, in a rural location devoid of Western news and newspapers and television.

I'll do my bit to the extent possible and hope for the best, but without large-scale support from our fellow citizens ....

'Nuff said. Sorry to be dismal.

ENFORCE THE LAWS THAT ARE ON THE BOOKS NOW!!!!

To end amnesty...

1) build the fence
2) hire appropriate numbers of border guards to enforce no corssing of illegals
3) end anchor baby amnesty
4) cut off all social services to illegals
5) heavily fine employers hiring illegals and inprison the executives that allow the hiring

vote out all lib/dems that dream of these illegals becoming good lib/dems!!!!

vote out all no cajone republicans supporting amnesty that are now the lap dogs of the lib/dems!!!

As far as the outhouse....send fat ted kennedy and his poodle el presidente jorge bush to the outhouse....they and their plan belong there!!!

"The government of Mexico has no control over roughly 35 of their own states."

With any luck at all, the "new gov't" won't have control over a bunch of states here. Here's hoping you live in one of them!

What you’re doing - buying a home abroad in a country that isn’t a direct target for immediate takeover by the elitists - is exactly what I expect many younger FReepers to do. And I don’t blame you one bit.

Couldn't agree more. We've already seen that the politicians' "one-time" fix only led to more of the same. Why should we belive that the next "one-time" fix will be different?

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

The only immigration reform Congress should be considering is an amendment to exclude children born of parents not in this country legally from automatic citizenship.

Never forget that people get the government they deserve. If amnesty passes and citizens lose their country without a fight, I for one have -0- sympathy.

Agree 100%. With their gigantic birthrate it will assure that we eventually become a Hispanic country in the next century. American culture will be doomed if this bill passes. We will be just another spanish speaking craphole. Even now a lot of towns in our country already are.

Politicians need a lumpenproletariat to lord it over.

Thanks for the thought, I'm not really "young" but at the trailing edge of the Boomers.

I'd been planning to retire to the foreign tropics anyway, but Shamnesty will accelerate the schedule.

It's immigration jujutsu: they come, I leave. Migration works both ways.

Say NO to the NAU! www.stopthenau.org

18 States CAN'T be WRONG! 15 states have pending Anti-NAU legislation and 3 states have passed Anti-NAU or Anti-SPP legislation in both their House and Senate!!!

I agree with you. I also don’t believe cards, letters, or emails are going to save the day.

We have been lulled to sleep far too long. Too long to open our eyes, clear our minds, and see the ways we have been manipulated.

Like they say, the truth hurts. The truth may make us react. Too much trouble.
