IsraelNN.com) Opposition leader Binyamin Netanyahu says we must learn the lessons from the Hamas takeover of Gaza, and ensure that it doesn't happen in Judea and Samaria.
Speaking with government-run Voice of Israel Radio, Netanyahu said, "We must understand the dangers: Every piece of land that we unilaterally evacuate, becomes a place where rockets are deployed against us. We must ensure that what is happening in Gaza doesn't reach Judea and Samaria as well. Unilateral withdrawals are not the answer. We said in the past that the retreat from Gush Katif would lead to increased terrorism and arms-smuggling, and we were right."
Netanyahu did not negate territorial concessions, but merely said they must not be unilateral.
He said that the same mistake occurred in Lebanon seven years ago: "Our hasty withdrawal from southern Lebanon [in May 2000, under then-Prime Minister and incoming Defense Minister Ehud Barak] turned it into Hizbulland, and our hasty exit from Gaza caused it to become Hamastan. If we leave Judea and Samaria, terrorism will increase; the IDF's presence there is preventing it from becoming Hamastan as well."
Speaking with reporters touring the Golan Heights this morning, Netanyahu warned that Gaza will rapidly develop into a springboard for Iranian activities if the IDF does not move to crush Hamas. “We cannot have an Iranian base on the outskirts of Be’er Sheva and Tel Aviv,” the former prime minister said.
“Although it is not spoken in civilized company the best way for Isr. to survive is for them to beat the crap out of them again. We can help, and should help. Keep them in fear and they will leave you alone”

The press will not publish it until they can figure out how it is israels fault for giving them what they wanted.
I guess it is too much to ask if the dims can understand this.

Well it wont be long before the lefty moonbats will be floating the proposition that if we withdraw support for Israel we can have peace and insure us all of free health care and a sound social security system.

I wish Bibi could run here.
So do I. We need someone like him in the Oval Office.

Thanks, SoCal...things are heating up, big time. And at the helm, Israel has Olmert, Barak and Shimon Perez...Larry, Curly and Moe.
Larry, Curly and Moe.
You couldn’t have said it better.
Somebody finally speaks good sense - ping!
I disagree. This is just more Bibi grandstanding.
The only approach which will work right away in the so-called West Bank is to move out the Arabs — perhaps to Gaza — and annex it (for good).
Regardless, Gaza should be fenced off and no passage allowed. The withdrawal from Gaza has led to PLO civil war, precisely as was intended, and the rocket attacks didn’t go from zero to whatever, it went from some rocket attacks to more rocket attacks. Having all the enemy in one strip of land would make it much easier to retaliate.
After Iran’s mullahcracy is overthrown, only Saudi Arabian civil war will be needed to stem the tide of cash which runs worldwide terrorism.
As usual, when others in Israel seem to be losing their heads, Netanyahu gets it right!
Now when can there be new elections in Israel so Olmerde will exit the scene and Bibi can replace him?
Our “friends” the Saudis - not!
That jerk Olmeret? Hopefully his career is F I N I S H E D!
Also happening in western countrys as we speak.. These people are raised to be anti social psychos.. And the Qu'ran is the base justification for the murder and/or other malfeance.. Islam is fully as negative as socialism.. of any degree..
Socialism is Slavery by Government and
Islam is Chaos by Government..
The Israeli people have to get it as well. They’ve let idiots run their country and need to fix it just like we need to remove idiots from office here.
“If only Netanyahu were in charge things would be a lot better for Israel!”
He was in charge and things got worse.
As someone who believes in the Bible, I think it’s pretty clear that things will continue to get worse for them until they heed Deuteronomy 30.
