Yes. The politicians know that if they don't get it passed now it will be years of dickering before there is another chance.

“Do you agree the Immigration Bill is going to pass the Senate?”

Well it certainly is possible. Let’s be honest,it’s not like the Senate is populated by men and woman of principle and conviction, just a bunch of self serving politicians with no sense of right or wrong !!!

You're right that they both predicted that the bill will pass the senate. They also both predicted that the bill would pass the senate before Reid shut it down in it's first incarnation. They both again believe that it will pass the senate this time around-although neither is as emphatic about it this time.

They both also firmly believe that the bill is going to hit a brick wall in the house.

It will pass the senate. Our only hope is the house , where there are a few actual conservatives.

WE CAN STILL STOP IT. The Senators need to feel the heat to see the light!

I think that the people in Washington have finally realized that they don’t have to do what we want them to. If the Democrats and Republicans collude on enough bad policy to where there’s no difference between the two parties in what they actually do (as opposed to what they talk about doing) it becomes like the old soviet union and nobody gets the upper hand.

Meanwhile, here in our online bastion of freedom and democracy there are still idiots who will blast anyone who considers voting third party if the two large parties nominate unacceptable candidates.

Remember, in America, we get the government we deserve and we ask for.

If you’re not willing to punish RINOs - not only by withholding your vote in primaries, but in a general election - don’t complain about what happens to the county. The fact of the matter is that when it comes to things like this, we’d be much better of as smaller, motivated to fight, obstructionist party than being complicit in the destruction of our country.

Even Juan Williams agrees with that. But we can't take anything for granted. There's clearly a lot going on behind the scenes that is moving history in a certain direction.

Two issues here. Will it pass the Senate? Maybe. Will Fox News present any coverage or commentary that might hurt its passage? Absolutely, not.

Fox News is just about the WORST outlet for immigration bill coverage

Any Freeper’s opinion is miles more informed than Hume’s or anyone at Fox.

P.S. How many illegals does Geraldo employ??

Of course it will succeed in passing the Senate - they are the quintessential Parliament of Whores.

The devil, as they say, shall be in the details. The mark-up on the conference bill should produce something decidely different than we now have.

Not that it shall be better.
