Check out the comments for today’s Amazon.com goldbox offer. It degenerated into a liberal whinefest on global warming and the poor polar bears threatened by gas motocycle engines.

If you do the set-up right it’s good for over an hour’s entertainment.

Look sincere. It is important that you start with: “I’m looking for the sequel to...” That’s a phrase that instantly turns off any cognitive abilities they may have had up to that point.

Follow them around the store as they look for it, swearing that it’s new and you just heard about it.

Have them check the computer. Again. Ask them to look in the back...

Saw this trailer this afternoon when we took the 2 & 8 year old grandchildren to see “Surf’s Up”, which was a very funny animated penguins-as-surfers movie. The “Arctic Tale” movie trailer was engaging, but the political undertones jumped right out. I’d rather watch “Meerkat Manor” until someone tells me they are cmposite meerkats.
