Ed Jew was a Republican and represents the most conservative section of SF, the Sunset District. He become a democrat for political survival (SF is 85% Democrat).

The Sunset district is populated by a large contingent of Chinese/American business owners and entrepreneurs. He is being singled out because he is as conservative as a politician can be and still get elected to office in SF.

Kamala Harris, the DA of SF, is an avowed Socialist. She is going after Ed Jew, in a large part, for the above reasons. Her actions are both despicable and predictable.

I couldn't care less that he's an ex-Republican or a "conservative" by S.F. standards. Do the crime, do the time. If the law says that you have to reside in your district, then you have to reside in your district. No water usage? No garbage service? Neighbors say that he was NEVER there. Sorry, that ain't residency.

And what's with the cash that he sought (and took) from the tapioca store owners? The FBI is investigating him for that after the tapioca store owners blew the whistle, right? Don't try to tell me that the FBI is targeting him because he's a "conservative."
