He’s going to be the Ross Perot of 2008, giving us a Clinton Presidency.

Ross Perot didn't 'give' us anything. President Bush didn't run a strong enough campaign to convince some to vote for him. Contrary to 'conservative' thought, it's not the responsibility of the citizenry to blindly vote for anyone with the right letter by their name. It is the responsbility of the candidate to represent his constituency and win their vote

It's the only way the PTB can get Hillary in. I've been waiting for this one. It was as predictable as the sunrise.

This isn't 1992. Trust me, the only 3rd party candidates who are going to run are the liberal/moderate squishy types who are going to hurt the Dim more than the GOP. I don't think there'll be a conservative 3rd-party candidate unless the base is stupid enough to vote for Rudy McRomney in the primaries.

“Rich people in the US all immediately turn into Socialists if not downright Marxists. I’ve never understood why this is the case. But look at people like Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, etc., and you’ll see that they support leftist causes straight down the line.”

It’s because leftists are more apt to kiss their(Gates, etc) asses and worship them than do people on the right.

“He’d siphon more votes from Hillary than from the Republican candidate.”

That depends on what topics he campaigns on. If he hits the correct Republican notes, he can siphon votes. That’s just what Perot did- a careful triangulation of several hot buttons for Republicans and poison pills for Democrats, and Billy Jeff won with 48% (or something) of the vote.

It requires MSM complicity, but that should be no problem.

I guess.

Perhaps people who earn their money in petroleum are different. (Then again, there is Arman Hammer — but he got rich by being a communist.)

News travels fast these days.

This idiot left the GOP back before there was a GOP.

Won't people have to actually vote for him?

Uh, he only joined the Party so he could stand out from the crowded dem field.

the GOP only let him do it because they care more about an “R” being elected then principles.

Guess Bloomberg now wants to pretend to be above both parties becaus no one like either of them. If he had guts, he would run as the liberal Democrat he is.

He had to do it. He got too tired of waiting for the party to ask him to leave.

He won’t hit the correct Republican notes. He’s at least as liberal as Her Heinous, and not shy about it. Pop some popcorn and enjoy. The Dems chances in ‘08 just got a lot worse.
