Post Lal Masjid: Zawahiri backs militant action against Musharraf

Lahore, July 27 (ANI): Close on the heels of the military action against Lal Masjid radicals, the Al Qaeda’s second-in-command, Ayman al-Zawahiri, has come out in support of militant outfits working against Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf.

Another old Bin Laden tape reposted
Again this week, an older Bin Laden tape has been reposted to the jihadist message boards.
The tape can be downloaded from http://www.lauramansfield.com/3.rm
A key question that is being asked by analysts is “Why? Why the repost of the old messages?”
Over the last month, we’ve seen a huge cache of older, and in many case obscure Bin Laden messages
appear on jihadist servers and on message boards.
The last time Osama Bin Laden appeared in a video tape was in October 2004. Since that time he
has released a number of audio taped messages, but no further videos. His last audio message
was in July 2006.
