LOL! Best laugh I’ve had all day! I recognize the swimmer, and Mr. Heinz, but what about the other gentleman?

I would hope that most FReepers can see this article for what it is.

But I will take a minute to counter two things she referred to, and that is candidates are not addressing poverty or race. Well, a mature, educated and godly person shouldn’t need to address race, but perhaps individuals. There are good, bad and indifferent of these in all races.

As for poverty, if she wants a bigger handout, a handout does not benefit anyone. It actually cripples them! My favorite saying on that subject is, “give a man a fish and he becomes dependent on you. Give a man a fishing pole, and that man becomes a fisherman.” It’s high time we turn back to the Bible for our moral principles and expected responsibilities. That is up to the individual, not to a candidate for president to address.

Duncan Hunter has expressed more about restoring industrial manufacturing back to this country. This would provide healthy, well paying jobs, jobs which have been outsourced to third world countries.

He has addressed and sponsored bills signed into law about securing our borders so that illegals do not swarm our country, taking jobs employers offer for lower wages - jobs
which used to pay well to American workers, who are put out of work by those illegals.

Those are the two points I am countering. The Democrats offer the handouts. The Republicans, at least Rep. Hunter, tells us to stand on our own two feet, be men and women, fathers and mothers, wage earners and nurturers.

I suggest in closing, turn from your sins, repent of them, change your evil ways, and follow God’s manual for the good life, the Holy Bible. True peace will follow.

Don’t even sell the good lady short. Did not Slickwillie appoint her husband as US Ambassador to the Bahamas? The guy even gave up his career of selling used cars to take the appointment. All she had to do was stop talking about Mena Airport.

Tax cuts, by definition, will only benefit those who pay taxes. Said another way, a tax cut will never benefit anyone who does not pay any taxes to begin with. Where you been, Sergio? In the United Socialist States of America there are the good and the bad. The bad pay taxes, lots of them. They good file tax returns and recieve something called the "earned income tax credit". While this sounds like a big refund, it is nothing of the sort. It is, in fact, a once a year welfare grant to those our masters in Washington have decided are "good" and deserve to be subsidized by the rest of us, the "bad". So tax cuts CAN benefit those who pay no taxes, and in fact the ultimate "Progressive" plan is to increase taxes on the bad while increasing "credits" for the good.

Wow... someone must have poked old Maxine with a stick... didn't know she was still "kicking."

Hope someone reminded her that we're still fighting a war on terror. She can now go back to sleep Rip van Winkle-style.

Maxine is the BRAINS of the Democrat Party. The REPUBLICAN PARTY IS DEAD if they pass this hideous illegal immigration bill, where the illegals don’t have to pay BACK TAXES!!!

I’m so sick of “the poor” I could throw up.
$6 trillion plus ain’t enough? Drop dead.
The “war on poverty” is lost - - time to pull out.

“The Republicans are dead in the water, and we need to put our foot on their necks and drown them.”

Hey, Maxie Baybee....bet you’re glad you were born before 1973.

Though I’m not so sure the rest of the country is.

Thats “Heineken Looter”; this guy was photographed after Katrina wading in waist deep water carrying a large plastic laundry basket filled with beer, mostly Heineken.

That ACRN bunch is really nasty. They showed up here and screwed up a keen redevelopment plan. Dedicated to keeping people poor since 1964.

Dumb Maxine, during a Congressional Hearing, a couple of years ago, on investment banking and brokerage firms, kept referring to the Financial Planning conglomerate, Smith Barney as “Smith Barney Frank” and the dumb broad didn’t even realize what she was doing. This is the honest to goodness truth.

FOX News played it over and over and over.......

HAHA! Victims of Katrina got a ton of money and I think I read somewhere they got over payed $400 million. I don’t know where in the constitution or anywhere else it says, “Live on the beautiful coasts of America and if there is a hurricane or a flood the Government must bail you out.” If Maxine thinks the funding was too little I have a novel idea: Look in Billy Jeff’s fridge! If Katrina showed us anything it was that liberals will use anything for the sake of political expediency. They were talking cannibalism at the Superdome, but no one stopped to think it had only been 3 days lol. Three days and you just start eating people, lol, and the press bought it, hook, line, and sinker. All the charges of racism were ridiculous, hurricanes do not discriminate, but the media does, and when the facts came out the fervor ceased. New orleans is majority black but I believe that the majority killed in this awful tragedy were white. So not helping because it was non-whites falls short of even a reasonable argument and smacks of those not having anything to start with expecting the Feds to build for them what they want to pretend they had.
