Hillary booed again
National Review ^ | June 20, 2007 | Byron York

Posted on 06/20/2007 6:33:42 AM PDT by John Cena

Sen. Hillary Clinton was booed again this morning at the Take Back America conference, sponsored by the lefty activist group Campaign for America's Future here in Washington. At this same conference last year, Sen. Clinton was booed for her position on the war in Iraq. This morning, she was enthusiastically received as she bashed the Bush administration — "a stunning record of secrecy and corruption" — but the crowd became less friendly when, at the end of her speech, she turned to Iraq.

"We're going to end the war in Iraq and finally bring home the troops," she said as a number of Code Pink protesters stood up in the audience. When she declared, "The American military has done its job," boos began to be heard around the room. As the boos increased, Sen. Clinton raised her voice. "The American military has succeeded," she said, to more boos. "It is the Iraqi government that has failed to make the tough decisions." Still more boos.

At that point, there was a round of cheers. "I love coming here every year," Clinton said. "I see the signs, 'Get Us Out of Iraq Now.' That's what we're trying to do."

>The American military has succeeded,

It’s funny, but when a Republican says that....well..you know the drill.

It reads more like these folk were booing the military. I have no words to describe my contempt for such vile trash.

Bet that one sentence took hitlery's think tank months to work out.

That's exactly what they were doing. The garbage should have been 'taken out' so to speak, but then you have to consider that this was a liberal gathering :(

My thoughts as well. I’d like to work out a deal whereby we accept so many million of the most productive illegal aliens and ship these anti-American POSs out to the countries which supplied us with the productive illegals. The drug smugglers would then be able to sell more locally.

I still find it amazing that the World’s Smartest Woman could be fooled into voting for a resolution entitled

“Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution (Public Law 102-1)”

I mean, what a misleading name for the bill.

You got an ex-squeeze too?

Hitlery is just soooooo "damaged goods".
The right won't support her, well.....because she's Hitlery.
The left won't support her because of her prior stance on the Iraq war, little as that stance may have been true.

The middle won't support her because she wants to take things from them for the "common good"

Poor little communist.

Not to her masters at Viacom they don’t. Simon&Schuester-SeeBS-MTV-Viacom overdubbed the boos the NYPD and NYFD gave Hillary at the “Concert for NYC” after 9-11 with CHEERS.

Outright revisionist fraud.

Was the concert for Katrina victims released to video? Were Kanye’s comments against President Bush changed to praise?

My co-worker is a big Hillary supporter. he has had a Hillary in 08 bumper sticker on his car for months. I can sense the frustration in him this morning. I think he has been reading this same story on the Koz or something.

I think Hillary has peaked. Thanks to Move-On The Democrat base has moved so far Left that any candidate doing a Bill Clinton (Get the moderate vote) is not going to be popular in many venues.

I wonder if Hillary is getting closer to a Sister Souljah moment and publicly slamming the Code Pinkos.
