Infineon Raceway is one of the premier road racing venues in the country, and one of the few on the NASCAR Winston Cup Series circuit. The facility first opened in 1968 and serves as the gateway to the beautiful and scenic Sonoma Valley, which serves as one of the top wine-producing regions in the world.
God Bless our Armed Forces and their families and those who have paid for our freedoms with their sacrifice.

That was my first thought as well. I’m loving this race - it separates the real drivers from everybody else (assuming the real drivers have decent cars, which clearly isn’t the case). It’s great to see people having to really work the car around. The ovals are so dang boring at times, and like it’s been said many times over the years, the old moonshiners didn’t race the feds on ovals..

Went out to Walmart this morning about 9:30a. Hghy 37 was backed up all the way into Vallejo already. That’s 12 miles of single lane road.

They made it in without a problem at 9. Took the Lake View drive out of Petaluma and they went in the new back gate. Parked a long way from the track but lots of shuttles running. They found a couple of their fellow employees but had to move when the seat owners showed up.
They have general admission tickets. I’ll call her in a bit...
