Dear Senator,
How can you, as a Democrat, vote for cloture on an amnesty bill (S. 1348) that would drastically increase the flow of foreign workers into the U.S. at a time when 40 percent of working-age Black men can't find a full-time job?
For every illegal worker that you sought to champion by voting for cloture on S. 1348, there are three unemployed Americans. These millions of Americans are a great untapped resource for this country, but you have chosen to shove them into the shadows.
Your "yes" vote on cloture disgraces the memory and work of the late Demcratic Representative Barbara Jordan, who gave future Congresses a gift ten years ago when she issued the recommendations of the bi-partisan Commission on Immigration Reform. Her commission found that mass immigration is harmful to America's most vulnerable workers. She was a champion of the downtrodden and forgotten. You are no Barbara Jordan.
BTW, the amnesty supporters have got a enw bill number for their dirty little anti-American proposal: S.1639! Plug that in instead of S 1348.

The Rats could care less if they can't find a job! This is how the rats want them ... dependent on the government ... keeps them voting for more rat socialism!
This is what the Politicians should be concerned with . .
Check out these figures, has the U.S. gone mad or is it just the people who are running it....
So often, we get caught up in a debate over political semantics and end up ignoring the hard-shell realities of what we’re talking about. According to immigrationCounters.com, here are some of the realities that the Flake-Gutierrez Bill would airbrush out of the picture:
Number of Illegal Aliens in the Country 20,807,645
Money Wired to Mexico City since January, 2006 (BIL) $22,213,001,672.00
Cost of Social Security Services for Illegal Aliens since 1996 (BIL) $397,450,739,563.00
Number of Children of Illegal Aliens in Public Schools 3,958,789
Cost of Illegal Aliens in K-12 Since 1996: (Billion) $13,965,063,431.00
Number of Illegal Aliens Incarcerated 332,594
Cost of Incarcerations Since 2001 (Bil) $1,398,127,429.00
Number of Illegal Aliens Fugitives 642,799
Skilled Jobs Taken by Illegal Aliens 9,872,838
Figures can trick your eyes. Take particular note that items 2, 3, 5, and 7 reflect BILLIONS not millions of dollars — and that item 3 exceeds one-third of a TRILLION dollars.
Can you imagine how much it will cost taxpayers if we triple the number of Illegals entering this country!!

So, What’s in a Billion?
The next time you hear a politician use the word “billion” in a casual manner, think about whether you want the “politicians” spending your tax money.
A billion is a difficult number to comprehend, but one advertising agency did a good job of putting that figure into some perspective in one of its releases.
A. A billion seconds ago it was 1959.
B. A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.
C. A billion hours ago our ancestors were living in the Stone Age.
D. A billion days ago no-one walked on the earth on two feet.
E. A billion dollars ago was only 8 hours and 20 minutes, at the rate our government is spending it.
This is too true.........And these numbers don’t lie.........and, it’s not funny!!!
I don’t hear any of the civil rights industry actually proposing anything. Here a new mayor and leader in the faith based initiative did something simple and effective. He identified employers who are willing to hire excons and then held a job fair. The first day 200 were hired. (Pop 25,000). Let that idea spread to the benefit of black communities.

Embryonic Stem Cell Research - Dems Voted for it because according to them “The majority of the people support it”.
Troops Home Dead-Line - Dems Voted for it because according to them “The majority of the people want the troops out”.
Immigration Bill - Dems totally ignore the Super Majority of the people are AGAINST it. They know what is best for America, to heck with what we think. Many Republicans are just as guilty including Bush.
I hope Senator Webb [actually a democrat critical of this bill] sticks to his guns here in Virginia.
[BTW, this is actually Arthur Wildfire! March, with HermitDCrabs assistance. Critical day.]
And as for that insane, treasonous immigration bill, why stop at defense? Why not a counteroffensive? I am calling my GOP senator [Warner] to not only oppose this treasonous bill, but I am also urging him to suggest to Trent Lott that his arrogance on this issue is offensive and that Lott should step down as Whip. If GOP senators realize that the fallout could threaten their leadership structure, that ought to wake them up to how serious we are.
