If you follow the link, you will be treated to some scenes from the strenuous life of a professional Muslim protester in the Kashmiri city of Srinagar. Over the last few years, there have been innumerable opportunities for him to demonstrate his piety and his pissed-offness. And the cameras have been there for him every time. Is it a fatwah? Is it a copy of the Quran allegedly down the gurgler at Guantanamo? Is it some cartoon in Denmark? Time for Rage Boy to step in and for his visage to impress the rest of the world with the depth and strength of Islamist emotion.

It means dying at his pleasure as well. Still, one cannot fault Rage Boy for adopting a winning tactic. It has been extremely successful and the degree to which Europeans are cowed by this is little short of astonishing. Nor is it only Europeans - American papers refused to print the Danish cartoons out of absolutely disgraceful cowardice that was rather half-heartedly disguised as consideration for the feeeeeeelings of the poor dears who were threatening to kill anyone they didn't like. The notion that it is open-minded to accept censorship by 7th-century fanatics and brave to face up to non-existent oppression by, say, the Christian Right, is the stuff of self-aggrandizing liberal fantasy. David Horsey of the Seattle Times, I'm speaking specifically about you.
It is a mistake to reduce the labyrinthine politics of the Middle East to playground verities, but in point of fact Rage Boy needs his ass kicked. It really is that simple. He can't hate us more than he does now but he can respect and fear us more, and that is a perfectly healthy thing.
If they want to needlessly riot and kill each other, have at it I say. We should help stoke their impotent rage by unabashedly exercising our freedoms. Keep those “provocations” coming.
Warning! This is a high-volume ping list.
Rage Boy, his ilk, and their ancestors have been “angry” and “outraged” since the 7th Century. Its passed down by each generation. If they gained the whole world for Mo’med and demon allah (my he be forever fubared), they would howl their “rage” and “protest” that the moon did not submit to their “religion of peace”.
“Look Forward to Anger ...”
Nice play on ‘Look Back in Anger.’
I saw ‘Look Back in Anger’ performed at Down Center Stage, the in-the-round downstairs theater at the Dallas Theater Center.
Since the theater is in-the-round, the ‘windows’ on the set looked out on the audience. During one part of the play, an actor goes on a screaming tirade while looking out one of the windows.
As it happened, I was seated exactly where he chose to look and deliver his verbal rampage. Going to the theater and having an actor scream at you from the stage is a memorable experience.
A real dickhead.
