Anyone Notice Michael Savage Was Silent About Immigration Today?
Posted on 06/26/2007 6:00:37 AM PDT by thesavagearchive
Did anyone else hear Michael Savage's show today? He didn't hardly talk at all about the immigration debate, instead he went off on a tangent bringing back old news about Lt Col. Chessani and how now his "only purpose in life is to save this man" and he can "go to his grave knowing he did something meaningful".
The whole show sounded like he had a gun to his head the entire time. Does anyone think the men in black paid him a visit over his vacation?
This is all very disconcerting. Call your Senators, I'm calling them right now! Say NO ON CLOTURE FOR AMNESTY!
------------------------------------------------------
Just say NO to Amnesty!! Keep calling!! Its NOT OVER!!

Savage has been talking about it since 94’, he probably is tired of it and thinks he has done his part.

I would not be surprised if talk show hosts critical of the illegal immigration amnesty bill have been advised to tone it down a bit.

Too tinfoil hat. I would guess that Doc Savage knows where his listeners stand on the Amnestyville Horror bill!

Last night I heard him pontificating that he’ll spend the next few weeks working to exonerate a falsely accused Marine...
A few weeks - now that’s dedication!
To: thesavagearchive
BIG DEAL....So he didn’t talk about it for 1 day. Saving our Marines from getting screwed is just as important and nobody else seems to be helping them.

That bears repeating. It seldom even makes the news.

It was his first day back from vacation.
He’ll get back to immigration pretty darn soon.

Agreed. Savage has been the only one talking about this issue and has spent his money on their legal defense fund. What is happening to these brave marines is outrageous and it makes my blood boil to see how we treat these heroes.
The fix is most likely in on amnesty as votes have been bought and Savage thought it would be better to focus on saving this brave marine. If we want to attract the best and brightest to the greatest fighting force in the world, we have treat our soldiers right and stand up for them when they have their backs against the wall.

Anyone have that 800 number that the OBL crowd has been using to get the illegals to call in to the individual senators?
My senators line is busy this morning and I can’t help thinking that I’d get right through using that number.

Yes, it is only one day, but happens to be the day before the cloture vote. Also, he was on vacation and he had a week to build up some rage. He also said he’d be willing to never talk about it again if the Lt. Col. is released.
Just seems unlike him.

It is, and I am glad Savage talks about it. The border patrol agents being in jail tick me off also. (I thinking Hunter is the only candidate that brings this up.)

I don’t listen to him much... but I heard Limbaugh yesterday say that cloture was pretty much a done deal. He said it quickly moving on to other topics... but I’ve noticed that few picked up on it.

I thought the statement was a bit contradictory to the theme myself.

He definitely should talk about the marines, but the timing of it just seemed kinda off to me considering he has already covered this story in depth before.
