Ever wonder why fear-mongering seems to work so well at the pollswhile appeals to reason often leave the electorate cold? A new book applies neuroscience to politics to figure out why the Democrats struggle to push the buttons in voters brains.

Article is sickening.
And yes, articles from Newsweek (The WaPo's demented little sibling) are usually sickening. Hell, the entire MSM makes me frightfully ill.
Why do I feel like this is a political ad for Al Gore?
Or maybe a coded message to him. LOL
More of the incessant lies from liberals in the media, disguised as concern for the fate of truth and reason which they have little use for. Lets consider the “dark-ops” myth campaigns of the Left:
1) Glo-Bull Warming
2) Social Security
3) Halliburton
4) Edwards “two Americas”
5) The Duke lacrosse players (well, they SHOULD be guilty even if they’re not)
The vacuousness of their arguments and utter disregard on the Left in general for truth, standards and coherence is only possible as long as they control a sufficient amount of the media and entertainment, and if/when they lose control of those things the mythological house of cards they have so carefully constructed will come tumbling down.
There is an assault on reason and glorification of emotion coming from the left. It scares me and makes me want to go back to the smoke filled rooms where men who knew them vetted candidates before they flung themselves on the electorate.
