Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Amazing grace. We are thankful for You, Father. Thank You for the grace that sent Jesus to die to cleanse us of our sins. Now we can come to You, spotless in Your eyes because of His righteousness alone. This is amazing and marvelous in our eyes. According to Your Word, we approach Your throne with confidence.

We pray for President Bush today and thank You, God, because we have heard of his faith in Christ Jesus. Because of that faith, we know You live within him. It is in You we have our faith. Therefore, we ask You to fill him with the knowledge of Your will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And we pray this in order that he may live a life worthy of You and may please You in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of You, being strengthened with all power according to Your glorious might so that he may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully give thanks to the Father, who has qualified him to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. Order his steps and fill his mouth with Your wisdom as he addresses heads of State and members of Congress.

We charge the angels to protect and defend this heir of salvation and his family and staff.

We remember our Freedom Fighters far from home, but not our hearts. We thank You for each one who has set aside his own agenda and plans for our greater good. We pray for a blessing for each one and his family awaiting his return. Cover them with Your wings. Show them how to be victorious. Keep them in Your peace. Let Your joy be their strength. Sanctify them spirit, soul and body.

As Your people have prayed for an outpouring of Your Spirit on our Land, we thank You that You have heard and are answering. Call Your saints to pray, renew a zeal for You in each one’s heart and empower them to serve You in righteousness and truth.

For the grace we have sought today, we thank You.
