Bald eagle to be removed from endangered list

The bald eagle, America's national symbol since 1782, is expected to be removed from the federal list of the most threatened animals today in what many are calling the greatest conservation success story in U.S. history. U.S. Secretary of the Interior Dirk Kempthorne has scheduled a news conference about the eagles' status for this morning at the Jefferson Memorial in Washington.

But will this make the National Eagle Repository obsolete?
So, until further notice, if you kill and eat your bald eagle, be sure to send all your scraps to the address at the above link.
What a day, shamnesty is defeated and and our national symbol is off the endangered species list. I wonder if that is just a coincidence.
