Amen to that. It is important to keep the initiative and get the right thing done . . .
“1) Secure the borders - Now!
2) Crackdown on illegal hiring - Now!
3) With the exception of life or death medical treatment, let it be known that within six months ALL services will denied anyone not here legally. Let that be known - Now!
4) Pass an amendment changing the 14th Amendment. Anyone born in the US must meet specific requirements to acquire US citizenship, including being born to LEGAL parents. Include in this change, language making English the official and only accepted language in the US.
This is my bill. It’s not loaded down with baloney designed to pander for votes. There will be much teeth nashing by businesses and pro-amnesty groups, but after the dust settles we’ll have once again, a sovereign nation.”

BUT, I suspect this leglislative landmark might be phrased like Churchill’s “the end of the beginning” of the border war. Agreed. And I would not be at all surprised if GWB gives it a final go early next year.
