“A lot of us worked hard to see if we couldn’t find a common ground — it didn’t work.”
:::::
What did not work El Jefe, was the attempted shafting of the American public with an insane, elitist, utopian destructive plan that would have destroyed the demographic of America, done NOTHING to fix our border security (wide open status), and bilk the taxpayers for TRILLIONS.

Common ground, eh? With the Mexican government, with La Raza, with every illegal Mexican, YEAH. But what about the American people El Jefe??? They seem to have been forgotten, and deliberately kept out of the process.....

The only failure here lies at your feet Mr. President. The "staus quo" you keep referring to is a clear failure of the executive branch, which you have had control of for over six years.

Read my lips...NO MORE BUSHES !!

Legal immigration is one of the top concerns of the American people and Congress's failure to act on it is a disappointment. The American people understand the status quo is unacceptable when it comes to our immigration laws. A lot of us worked hard to see if we couldn't find a common ground -- it didn't work.

What is unacceptable is you pushing illegals down our throats and not pushing for LAW ENFORCEMENT, as you SWORE to do when you became president.

Oath of Office for President.
Article II, Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution.

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

Serves as Commander in Chief.
Article II, Section 2 of the U.S Constitution.

The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States; he may require the Opinion, in writing, of the principal Officer in each of the executive Departments, upon any Subject relating to the Duties of their respective Offices, and he shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment.

Protects Each State Against Invasion.
Article IV, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution.

The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on application of the legislature, or of the executive (when the legislature cannot be convened) against domestic violence.

Lou Dobbs: "There are some Mexican citizens and some Mexican-Americans who want to see California, New Mexico and other parts of the Southwestern United States given over to Mexico. These groups call it the reconquista, Spanish for reconquest. And they view the millions of Mexican illegal aliens in particular entering the United States as potentially an army of invaders to achieve that takeover."

Invasion: INVA'SION, n. s as z. [L. invasio, from invado.]

1. A hostile entrance into the possessions of another; particularly, the entrance of a hostile army into a country for the purpose of conquest or plunder, or the attack of a military force. The north of England and south of Scotland were for centuries subject to invasion, each from the other. The invasion of England by William the Norman, was in 1066.

2. An attack on the rights of another; infringement or violation.

I sent the moron-in-chief that copy of his oath of office that he has violated ever since he stepped into the White House.

I thank the members of the Senate and members of my administration who worked so hard on the border security and immigration reform bill.

The same mistakes that were made in Iraq are made again. The Emperor's clothes are only visible to those who view him as the Emperor.

Congress... Congress...Congress....

Congress already did it's job. It's called 8 USC 1324.

Now, Mr. President Pretender, it's time to do yours.

There is no question but that this is the result of the efforts of American Conservatives at the grass roots, roused to a defense of their nation and communities, in the face of enormous pressure for a definite form of sell out. But now is not the time to gloat. Now is the time to push on with the cause of awakening the millions of our fellow citizens, who for far too long have trusted politicians to protect them and theirs, without really looking into the hearts and minds of those politicians.

We have until November, 2008, to accomplish what must be accomplished, if this victory is to be more than a thing of the moment. God Bless & God Speed, to all efforts to defend, protect and preserve the America we cherish.

I’d include granting a pardon to the two border guards service time in the United States Prison System.

There is no major legislation that is expected to pass until after the elections, so he might as well concentrate on seeing our military involvement in Iraq carried through successfully, before retiring to Crawford Mexico City.

There....    Corrected.
