The government has issued some 7 million such cards, certain foreign nationals are eligible for them so they can get public benefits. But it is illegal for them to work. This reads like satire. The government gives people cards so that they can get welfare but they are not allowed to work. Unbelievable!

Now is not the time to let up. We need to pressure our politicians to enforce the existing immigration laws including deporting illegal aliens, building the fence and prosecuting businesses who do business with illegal aliens. The link below is a ping list to pay attention for other questionable legislation being considered in Congress.

A very common reason for issuance of a "number" is that someone has a student visa.
Such folks are allowed to "work" for the school they are attending. IRS wants a piece of the action, so the numbers are issued to the students so that taxes can be collected.
I believe this payment of taxes is referred to as a "benefit" by leftwingnuts.

"This reads like satire. The government gives people cards so that they can get welfare but they are not allowed to work. Unbelievable!" The 'government' isn't as stupid as this would be make one believe. There is a greater purpose underneath their apparent 'stupidity', and I suspect that soon many good folks who have been giggled at for suspecting a North American Union or New (borderless) World Order is in the making will be due an apology. For the globalists this shamnesty debacle is but a small bump in the road. They will not rest, so neither can we. The fight to maintain our autonomy and national integrity is going to be a long one. It won't be completed until every lying, treasonous s.o.b. in Washington is outted, dumped from office and replaced with an honest person who puts America first.

When I left for work this morning I thought I saw a shadow descending on my home.
When I returned tonight - Holy Mother and all the Saints!
I had a new lawn! Sod! Shrubbery! A tree!
People! I want to know just what the hell happened and I want to know now!
I got a bad feeling that some of those shadow folk I keep hearing about on CSPAN were at my place doing the work somebody else didn't want to do.
Where was that Ted Kennedy's Immigrant Gestapo? Never around when you need 'em...

It's just another of many and mounting reasons why the Bush administration and the one before it have so little credibility on the issue of illegal immigration and border security. That would be the Clinton Administration, Lou. No need to be secretive about it.

I live in the El Paso area.
A Hispanic friend of mine was an illegal immigrant.
(He is legal now.)
He is an aircraft mechanic and was hired to
work on the Border Patrol helicopters...
This was quite a few years ago but it is interesting
that they would hire an illegal to fix their copters.
He is a nice fellow and an asset to our country...
Two kids in medical school right now and he always
votes a Republican ticket.
He drove me to the polls back when Clinton first ran...we both cast Republican straight tickets and he was very upset when Clinton got in.
The abortion issue will keep him from ever casting a democrat vote.

This reads like satire. The government gives people cards so that they can get welfare but they are not allowed to work. Unbelievable! Then you have jorge and other rino senator that say there are no illegals on welfare, etc, etc, because they gave them the cards to get on welfare and therefor made them illegal to work, and call them illegal to work immigrants. This governemnt is sick. "Catch 22", screw the tax payer that plays by the rules.

just as strange is paying farmers not to grow crops
running the taxes so high that the manufacturing jobs exit
something is definitely amiss, but someone, anyone please get back to me when the government does something right.
They (our government) leadership is stoopid (sp), it is the nature to fake stoopid, while collecting the money, and spend, spend, spend and tax, tax, tax when they (our government) leadership doesn't have to pay for it, while the taxpayers do.
Now there is a brand new game in town and guess what, again they (the government elite) have the edge. They (our leadership) loves to tell America and Americans, here grab your ankles and apply much lubricant, cause the elite is the elite is the elite and we (the government elite) could care less about the average American here in this nation. We (the government elite) have made it clear, we will return again and again till our desire is attained.
We (the opposition) might be wise to formulate our own plan, here and now, and not wait for DC (they are working with the enemy), cause to wait on DC is to not see nothing but the arrival of more illegals, excuse me illegalities.

Time to remove all of the USUSAL Congress Fritters and elect NEW reps and Senators using the favorite SON electoral process to put people into the congress that will do the work of the people. These a$$es have sold us out. The can no longer claim to represent the people.
To: 26lemoncharlie
I pray we (Americans) can hold onto this nation for our children and our children's children, but if we can't remove the traitors, and those offering themselves to the highest bidder, we shall still have lost the nation to our own congress' treason. Quite ironic......
In 2008 a 'how awake are you America moment' will be election day.
