A man grabbed the microphone out of the hands of Fox News reporter Laura Ingle while she was doing a live report on the debut of the I-Phone outside the Apple store on 5th Avenue in New York City.
The microphone, adorned with the Fox News logo, was quickly recovered. Ingle was just beginning to interview a Newsday reporter who had been given a preview model of the I-Phone to test when the thief ran up and grabbed the microphone, ignoring the much in-demand I-Phone.
Ingle reported a minute later that the microphone was recovered and the thief taken into custody.
“Such anger. Would you like to talk about it?”
Actually, what sicon posted was funny, and pretty much spot on.
The Apple collective behaves much like the looney left, (in fact, they are often one in the same). They are zealots, anyone who isn’t with them is seen as a brainless barbarian. It’s not common to find a mac user who isn’t a zealot.
And I’m not a Microsoftie. I don’t care what computer you use, a computer is a computer. I just don’t care for the arrogant, enthusiasm of the Apple world.
If it'd have been CNN they'd have given said creation of moonbat a half hour show on Saturday....
Don’t drop the iPhone!
At least they’re not bothering the Energizer Bunny anymore.
I disagree with you, respectfully. I believe that the Apple product liine has created more zealotry among its detractors than among those who happen to prefer the hardware and OS to what is available in the PC paradigm. I have simply encountered more frustration using non-Apple equipment than I have using Apple products. But then again, I’m not a gamer or tinkerer, and most of my work is in the graphics and video field. Sure, there may be some who go over the top, but please, don’t lump all Apple users into the “gay liberal” model.
Probably couldn’t resist grabbing the phallic looking thing.
iPhone - the Paris Hilton of ‘smart phones’
Earlier this year in D.C. a moonbat spat on the Fox News microphone being held by Griff Jenkins, a Fox News crew was menaced and their satellite truck had a rock thrown though its windshield.
Ah, that took me a while. I was microseconds away from posting a response I would have regretted!
Save the iPhone! Reporters we got.
“Sure, there may be some who go over the top, but please, dont lump all Apple users into the gay liberal model.”
As with most things, the loudest among you become your public personna. Unfortunate, but true.
I see a place for all platforms, and I see the shortcomings of each. Honestly, it doesn’t matter one bit to me what anyone computes with. For all you know, I’m on a Linux platform, but would it matter?
Personal experience is key. You obviously have encountered one too many Microsofties. I’ve run into one too many snobby mac zealots.
But I still say Sicon’s characterization of mac users was funny! And I’d bet that most mac users are amused at the characterization of pc users as: living in their parent’s basement, wearing pointy ears, and chatting about comic books!
Lighten up.
Little wussy liberal grabbing the mike from a female reporter. Does anyone remember when one these little punks tried this with Brian Wilson several years back? It was great! Wilson, who is a big man, threw him aside like a rag doll and continued his repert. Classic!
“Is this why Steve Jobs always dresses head to toe in black?”
You bet! Good call. ;)
How dare he interrupt their commercial.
She did mention after the attack that while preparing for the segment, people in line were making comments about Fox News.
