Putin is acting just like Brezhnev or Andropov. And, I believe that the Soviet flag will fly over the Kremlin again before the end of the decade.

These are Putin’s hand chosen hired thugs showing their true colours. Moscow’s mobsters with ‘diplomatic’ immunity.

It is too bad the store owner was not able to give these gentlemen some Chinese scotch. There’s a rumor it’s tainted but who knows?

Portsmouth Naval Shipyard , which, ironically, is in Maine.

I understand both the Kittery and Portsmouth liquor stores just got these devices to check for fake $100 bills just because they knew Putin was coming to visit. (Right!) I wonder if the security guard even knew it was fake or if he thought us Mainers were just a bunch of log cutters and clam diggers who wouldn’t know the difference?

It’s been said that there are more counterfeit $100 US bills around the world than genuine. The fellow may have gotten it in Russia unwittingly.

Yes, indeed, Russians are well known for counterfeiting our 100 dollar bills.I believe I have heard that before. But what purpose would it serve Putin to have people passing them in liquor stores in Maine, where they stand out like sore thumbs? It is not like they are going to undermine our currency. I have no doubt that there are dishonest Russian conterfeiters, and I have no doubt that Russians try to pass countrfeit money, I just can’t see why Putin or his country would benefit from two or three hundred-dollar bills being passed. Again, why would Putin order people to do this?

Why does every crime or dishonorable thing that a Russian does have to be a direct order from Putin? I doubt that Putin is even aware of the extent of counterfeiting that goes on across the nation.

That’s as crazy as blaming Bush for everything that goes wrong in America. I am certainly not a fan of his anymore but I don’t throw rocks at him that are unjustified.

Putin’s government is the same as ours, infected with criminals in every department from the top to the bottom. These people, I say most politicians and bureaucrats, are looking for every dollar they can get their filthy hands on as long as there is no physical labor involved and they don’t have to break a sweat to get it.

They are all too smart, in their own minds, where they should be forced to do common labor. That is beneath them. It is okay to do common labor of their own choice for short periods of time IF it will be observed by someone who is apt to talk about it, but be forced to do it? Never!

“Why does every crime or dishonorable thing that a Russian does have to be a direct order from Putin?” You must not have understood either of my posts, which is odd, because I thought I was writing in plain English. I did not say every dishonorable thing the Russians do was on Putin’s orders. I said just exactly the opposite, in fact, and I said it twice, using a question as a rhetorical device. It helps to read people’s posts before commenting on them.
