I vote for the Rouge River in Southeast Michigan. Sometimes it catches fire.

I’ve tossed over soda and beer cans (with punctures of course) when we’ve been becalmed, and seen the silvery top of the can reflect the sun for probably 200+ feet.

needlesss to say with a rolling LaFitte 44 and swells, it’s a good thing we had plenty of ammo

The waters in the Red Sea off Jeddah were incredibly clear. One would think that with amount of super tankers transiting that waterway, the Red Sea would look like the Cuyahoga River in Cleveland, but it was an incredible place to snorkel and SCUBA.

As clear as the clearest lakes on the planet, salty as ocean waters, and roughly the size of the Mediterranean this, say researchers, is the clearest and most lifeless patch of ocean in the world. Lifeless?
Paging friends of the dirt, Greenpeace, TheSierra Club, Earth First and the other nameless fruitcakes...
Isn't that a small price to pay for perfect clarity?

“Sometimes it catches fire.”
Sounds like the Schuykill in Philadelphia.

At the risk of alerting Art Bell fans, isn’t this AO a ‘hotspot’ for UFO and USO sightings?
