The phrase must sound like fingernails on a chalkboard to anyone from the White House who listens to Laura Ingraham’s nationally syndicated radio show. We know someone there listens because White House press secretary Tony Snow, an old Ingraham friend, has braved the show more than once, including in a blowout exchange deep into the debate over the Senate immigration bill that died Thursday on the Senate floor.
Fingernails on a chalkboard, too, to Mississippi senator Trent Lott, who announced, Dianne Feinstein-like, “Talk radio is running America. We have to deal with that problem.” No, senator: Talk radio is listening to America. (Only 22 percent favored the immigration bill he was whipping for). You should try it, Senator. It could help solve some of your problems (19-percent approval rating).

Revolution is in the wind!
“Revolutionary radio”
just what the lefties need (coming from conservatives).....watch that word get plenty of lefty play as they try to play fairness doctrine....
We could start calling ourselves progressives just to mess with them.
“We could start calling ourselves progressives just to mess with them.”
And say we are pro choice and our choice is life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Internet streaming audio is great. I’ve been listening to Laura Ingraham lately. I still enjoy Rush the most, but she’s a strong second, maybe tied with Hugh Hewitt, another streamer for me since he’s not on local radio. Don’t care for Hannity at all, he’s goofy to me. Savage has occasional bouts of sanity but there’s too much lunacy to make it worthwhile to sit through.
It will be an interesting test of power, when Hillary and the FCC go after talk radio.
If you like Laura, you’ll love Mark Levin.
Now I'm seriously looking forward to seeing them unemployed after 2008.
Personally, I can't wait.
It's way past time.

I think we’ll see many of the stages of escalation that happened in Venezuela over the past decade, politics and media wise. Only it won’t end up with the ‘rats in total power, it’ll end up in a CW if they try to push it as far as Hugo.
Laura is absolutely fabulous. Preach it sister!
This nation built the Panama Canal, sent men to the moon and back, wiped out smallpox and polio and yet they have the unmitigated audacity to stand in front of us and say we can't build a lousy couple of thousand miles of fence.
That grievous insult is then followed by "we can't deport them all" or some such twaddle.
Any 'politician' who stands up and says "we can't" just one more freaking time should be run out of town on a rail.
"We" can. "They" just don't want to.
I'm telling you my friend, I'm beyond pissed off about this. In fact, I can't even see pissed off in my rear view mirror anymore.
I'm sick and tired of having to watch this bunch like hawks to make sure they don't trash the frigging country while I'm not looking. I expect that sort of behavior from my 12 year old.
I will not tolerate it from a bunch of alleged adults who swore an Oath to support and defend the Constitution.
