Ann Coulter appears on The O'Reilly Factor to clarify some of her comments on news shows and in her Best Selling Books.
She mentions that Matthews was on the morning programs lying about what she said on his show the night before.
John Edwards is using the appearance on Hardball the night before to raise money. Quote from Ann: "I'm more of a man than any liberal is"
She certainly has more moxie then they do, and also will use quite "provacative" (according to BO) statements to counter the Liberals and show that Liberals can make threats against Conservatives with no proble, but when Coulter points that out of course they always accuse her of hate speech.
"I am the illegal alien of commentary. I will do the jokes no one else will do."
Ann expresses exasperation with those not quite up to her intelligence level (my take, not her words) to understand her punditifications and therefore only comment on the words and the epidemical tendency of taking her statements out of context
"I cant take explaining the english language to talk show hosts anymore"
I watched that segment and thought O’Reilly was smarter than that... He just didn’t seem to get her points.
“I watched that segment and thought OReilly was smarter than that... “
BOR thinks he is smarter than that, too.
ROTFLOL
“I cant take explaining the English language to talk show hosts anymore”
She comments on Amnesty and of course the Elizabeth Edwards fiasco on Hardball.
I really don’t watch his show, I just can’t!
This whole thing is people like him and Matthews et al not being well read or smart enough to see the points she is making about the liberal’s getting a pass on threats etc.
She is a treasure.
Libertina, you got that right. He is so wrapped up in himself (as is Matthews) that neither one of them “get” her. Well, they both feign that, they just want to stir up controversy. Note the “tease” at the beginning of O'R Factor, same tactics the liberals use.
The video of her leading up to that is priceless. You can just see the utter humourous disbelief that someone with 10 million watchers/listeners can be that obtuse.
She plays them like...well like a radio...LOL

I really like how she managed to call herself "The mother of the boy who died" while denying Ann's charge of the Edwardses using that comment to raise money.
Which is more pertinent to someone becoming president: That a columnist made a bad-taste joke about them, or that they charge $50k to make a speech to a group representing the poor?

Best of all , she supports Duncan Hunter !.....
Thanks RonDog, another winner of a column by Ann
FWIW, **this thread** is still the BEST SUMMARY of the whole Ann Coulter/Elizabeth Edwards attempted sandbagging, IMHO:

He’s good on abortion....he shines there...and child victimizers.

Billy-Boy had the stupids worse than usual in that interview. He’s usually pretty obtuse whenever somebody tries to explain something to him, but he was a total moron with Ann. He didn’t even realize she was slamming him for being so stupid.
Bump
Thanks!

You could plainly see during the interview that the arrogant O'R doesn't like her either.
Hmmmm........
Leni
He's very liberal on many issues and has little to no grounding or education in conservative traditions and principles.
He's a scattershot, demagogic populist in a very low strata of political ideology even though he dresses well, shaves and has an elfin smile.
Leni
I believe that you are correct.
I listen to his his radio show for periods of time then decide that it just ain't worth it.
He'll cite specific abominable behavior of leftists then quickly add, "the right does it too." I do not recall a single instance where he backed up that claim with specifics -- instead he has simply mentioned Ms Coulter's name as "proof."
He doesn’t ‘get’ many points.
I loved it when he had Neal and other business folk on to discuss this. They basically laughed in his face about it, and he still does not 'get' it. That was about the time I quit watching him.
I do watch on Fridays - when Michelle is on. I just hit mute when they have a re-run of one of his previous acts.
I started listening again in late 2005 sporadically. Right now I'm avoiding the show but I've forgotten why.
I'll give him credit for going after the MSM, though.
That is not necessarily a new thing for BOR.....
She's so quick with her wit, too. She's usually about 3-4 steps ahead of whoever is opposing her. It's always fun to watch her opponents tie themselves into knots desperately trying to keep up.....
All true, but the thing that really drives them batty is that she refuses to knuckle under to their shame machine. Ann Coulter has her own style, which some like and some don't. But what is beyond dispute is that she has more personal integrity than the ten best liberals combined.
Shameless, yet right on character for a sleazy trial lawyer.
It's not that people want her to stop talking, they want her to stop talking like she does. If Ms. Coulter is as smart as she claims she is, she wouldn't see a necessity to talk in such low-class terms. I don't care who it is.
Ms. Coulter serves no good purpose for the conservative movement. She is the Michael Moore of the right.
WHAT A JERK
And you, apparently, are the Bill O’Reilly of Free Republic. Go read her latest column explaining exactly why she said what she said, and get back to us.
Outstanding FReeper comments bump!
I saw the segment. Ann STOPPED THE SPIN of the “spin stops here” guy, but Bill didn’t get it.
(Bill, you have done a lot of good things. Do yourself a favor, go back and look at the segment)
GO ANN GO!
Not as bad as Colmes does everyday.....
I stopped watching him regularly years ago
Thanks for reminding me why.
I watched that part only to see Annie in action. It is appalling how dense, obnoxious and annoying o’reilly is. How in the world anyone watches him daily?!?!?
How can someone so dimwitted and basically illiterate get this job? He and jerry rivers are essentially two sides of the same coin - unintelligent fakers of passion on populist issues for the lazy-minded. Annie seemed to be frustrated towards the end at his inability to grasp simple concepts (like “putting on pants first, then shoes”). In addition, the humorless blabbermouth was clearly intimidated by Ann. She’s good and funny, he’s a waste.
Did I miss something?
I’d call John Edwards a faggot but, that would be totally unfair to faggots.
“He just didnt seem to get her points.”
I think O’Reilly is jealous of Ann because she’s had one more NYT bestseller than he has.
Pray for W and Our Troops
Actually you serve no good purpose to the conservative movement. Now go eat some Brie and leave us alone. Ann Rox!!
