Ultrasounds Used To Change Minds

-SNIP-

The increasing use of ultrasound exams at crisis pregnancy centers brings criticism from clinics that provide abortion. They see its use as manipulating pregnant women. Eve Espey, obstetrician/gynecologist at University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center, said CPCs are looking at legislation to force women to view an ultrasound before having an abortion.

"I think it's very much a coercive measure," said Espey, "because I think it gets back to your basic right to have the information you want to have."

I think she is referring to the fact that the information will be required (ie the woman won't have a choice as to whether or not she wants to be informed. You know this is the pro-choice crowd LOL. If they (the abortion industry) are correct and a "fetus" isnt yet a person, what harm would it do to show that? I think they should also require a woman seeking an abortion to view a live birth (especially if her baby is viable) and an abortion filmed at her stage of pregnancy. But alas, abortion must be shrouded in lies to keep it palatable to the masses. Actually I just think it should be outlawed altogether but common sense with law makers seems to be a thing of the past.

Actress Patricia Heaton (of “Raymond” fame) gave $1.5 million of her own money to buy 3D Ultrasound machines for clinics to discourage women from having abortions. God bless her. That is $1.5 million more than so-called “pro-life” George W. Bush has proposed to spend (in addition to his not cutting a single penny from the $262 million federal subsidies to Planned Parenthood).

I can attest to the life saving power of ultrasounds. Since 2004 my group has done fundraising to help CPC’s acquire six of these machines. They tell us of the impact the images have on the mothers to be.

I also want to say that anyone or any group can do fundraising for your local CPC and it’s quite simple. I posted the steps that we found most effective on my site http://cpforlife.org/id157.htm Feel free to Freepmail me with any questions.

Before you are two sealed tanks each with a small vent at the top. One tank is empty, the other contains a small beautiful child. You’re required to fill one and only one tank with water. Would you like to know which tank encloses the child?

It’s a good question. The pro-life catholic and evangelical republicans in congress and the white house have been “increasing” Title X for family-planning spending for Planned Parenthood and other organizations since the pubs took over congress in 1994 and bush took over the white house in 2001.

$283,000,000 in 2006 in title X and ZERO to crisis pregnancy centers trying to save the lives of babies. I believe medicaid still pays for abortions too.

We also pay the ACLU for the many cases they take to court.

Yeah, that’s the problem with being the messenger. All I can say is “Hit the deck!”.

Only in as much as you posted the article...not a personal remark.

Right to remain stupid:....They consider it an offense to be disabused of the notion “stupid presumption”..that it is a clump of cells.

It is an imposition of their stupidity to see something with the face, hands and fingers of a human...

I was trying to make a play on the reading of Miranda rights...Sorry if it fell flat...

Of course they have to find it coercive and manipulative....they will accuse the LIFE side of exactly what THEY use for their own tactics. Deflection!

Is it any wonder we have a generation or two of people who cannot take responsibility for thier own actions?! Large organizations can get away with "murder" (wow! That cliche' works here!) so why not individuals!??

Abusers in Domestic Violence and Abuse do the same thing...project, deflect, play the blame game! Not much different, is it? PP abuses women. It manipulates them, when they are at their greatest need for understanding and compassion!! Instead of compassion, there is manipulation to make them think the best thing for them is to PAY PP to remove the LIFE, which would (deceit) remove the problem from their lives and make everything right again. Psychological abuse. Then further lack of compassion, by sending them out the door, wounded and not providing the appropriate post-abortive counseling!

WOW! A society that PAYS abusers!? But they have the gall to say it is in the best interest of the client? They know what is best!? WOW!! Use the Domestic Violence and Abuse profile and set it side by side with PP. This is freaky!

PING to a few of you!

“Why is abortion the only procedure where the patient is kept in the dark?”

'Shame, guilt, avoiding the truth, etc., etc., etc...'

The shame and guilt usually come afterewards for the post-abortive. PP doesn't bear shame or guilt, they exude the spirit of deceit. Part of the plan is to keep clients in the dark. As long as the clients are in the dark, being deceived, the death-mill can go on, bringing in the money, killing off another generation.

The ultrasounds will save some babies, so they need to fight them! A bill that would require post-abortive counseling would be fought because that would be admitting they are causing harm.

Truth will dispell the deceit, and remove it from the land. Truth is the stories of the post-abortives! Those stories being told will also bring the healing of the post-abortives, as they share their life story. I am NOT promoting exploitation of someone who is post-abortive. The Truth will come as God reaches their hearts.

In the meantime, we are not called to sit on our hands and hope and wait. Babies are being murdered every few seconds. Where is the out cry from the nation??!! Too many are sleeping. Lord, raise them up! Wake them! Move them!

So, this OB/GYN thinks that having an ultrasound of your baby violates the basic right to have the information you want to have? Did I read that correctly???

Why, yes! Didn't you see that in the Bill of Rights? It's the 74th Amendment: The Right to Remain Blissfully Ignorant
