McCains campaign is in serious trouble. The man once considered the dominant frontrunner had struggled for months. Only the liberal press considered McVain a dominant front-runner. the man needs to retire and get a life.

The Ron Paul supporters who were championing his 2% as the beginnings of a blowout will be here shortly to tell us that at this stage polls don’t mean a thing!

Although Fred hasn't declared his candidacy he has expressed interest in The Fair Tax. Will his followers also support The Fair Tax if Fred supports it? Fair Tax ping!
Well over a hundred FairTaxers came to Columbia, South Carolina yesterday to let former Senator Fred Thompson know that the FairTax is an extremely important issue facing potential presidential candidates.
Amazingly, 140 out of the 300 attendees were FairTax supporters! As a result of this strong showing, the former senator noted several times how he was impressed with the FairTax and also let it be known that the FairTax is an issue he is considering as he prepares for a possible bid for the presidency.
Thanks to all of our hardworking volunteers who made this event a huge success! Now we have to get ready to take our message to Ames, Iowa on August 11th!

Romney has not been able to gain traction in national polling, but he is on top in New Hampshire. The first Rasmussen Reports poll in that state finds the former Massachusetts Governor with a nine-point lead in his neighboring state. True, but the trend has to be disturbing for Romney and his fans -- it's starting to replay Iowa all over again. In Iowa, Romney jumped to a big lead by being the only one out there buying ads. But as Thompson got to be viewed more seriously, Fred moved from 4th through McCain and Guiliani, and then into 2nd by himself. Once that happened, Romney's double-digit lead has shrunk to barely more than the margin of error.
In New Hampshire, again Romney has enjoyed a big early lead (close to home state, ad buys) with Thompson running a distant 4th. But all of a sudden, Thompson starts moving up the pack, passing McCain and tying Guiliani for 2nd. If this keeps up, he'll soon be 2nd by himself and starting to close in on Romney's lead.

What are the chances that Fred would choose Rudy as his running mate?

Pretty good for someone not even running. Yet.
We’ll see how Fred does when announces and the MSM and his rivals REALLY tear into him!
Hopefully, he stays on top.
