“Thanks again, Mitt. Your legacy of abandoning Ratsachusetts to the Marxist trash is secure.”

This is a major reason why I don’t support Romney for the GOP pres. nomination. He didn’t have the faith to go before the voters for a 2nd term, yet he wants to be elected President? He left his state in the hands of the Deval. Sorry but no dice, Mr. Romney.

Yup, and telling the crowds what they want to hear... not what he did, nor what he believes. He pulled that schtick running for office in MA, but he has another thing coming if he's going to do it with GOP primary voters nationwide. All this guy did was make Massachusetts even safer for Democrat/Marxist candidates. And now he wants a promotion and reward for it ? He's running in the wrong party.

If he had plans to run for President why would he run for re-election for Governor only to resign a few months later? There still would have been a special election and DeVal or another Rat would have probably won anyway.

Republican Governors in Massachusetts have a history of bolting after realizing that their job sucks. Weld resigned to get an ambassadorship to Mexico after losing the 1996 Senate Race, which he was then denied by Jesse Helms. Cellucci resigned to be ambassador to Canada in 2001, and his replacement Jane Swift didn’t run for re-election in 2002. So in 2002, to calm questions from the media and many voters that he would be another run away Republican Governor, Mitt promised that he would serve any term he was elected to. His re-election in 2006 would have been dogged by questions about his previous promise and his obvious desire for the Presidency only two years after he would have been re-elected. Furthmore, he too realized his job sucked.

Not only that, he didn't give his Lt. Gov the exposure she needed in 2006.

Not a team player.
