If you tax the rich enough soon only the government will be rich.

We're much better off here in the States.

Here the teachers give sex away for free.

Names have been changed to protect identities.

Then why make up a name like Sithole?

It’s amazing to me that Mugabe is still alive. He must have a huge bodyguard. It’s rare in this world where you can predict with any accuracy where anyone will end up, but in his case, it is at the bottom of the river, or at the end of a rope. Those are just the odds.

She should change her name to Latrine.

“A severe drought has resulted in a 95% crop failure in the south and in villages around Plumtree....”

“Yet this works in Mugabe’s favour because he will again be able to use food as a political tool in the run-up to elections next March.”

The ugly situation in Zimbabwe will also no doubt be shown as an example of Global Warming, and works in the Democrats favor in the run-up to elections next year.

These are the Best Friends of the likes of Jimmy carter, Al Gore, Bill & Hitlery Clinton and most of the democrats.

They embody the same principles of ALL POWER TO THE ELITE RULING CLASS at the expense of everything else.

Actually, Zimbabwe was very well-to-do before the white farms were seized.

After seizing the white farms, they stopped producing food for some reason (try mismanagement).

Forget the drought story. It's a lie.

Thanks! I should have known better. The stuff in Darfur and Rwanda is much the same I believe (blamed on drought, but caused by war, tribalism, whatever).

I was in Irian Jaya (Indonesian part of New Guinea) and the gov’t couldn’t figure out why the farms weren’t doing well. First - about the only thing that would grow in those soils were sweet potatoes (the staple of the local tribes). Plus, the “farmers” were folks that the gov’t had grabbed out of their overcrowded cities and “transmigrated” them off to Irian Jaya!
