"I think that was “When Johnny Comes Marching Home”."

You are correct. I knew that. Why did I do that? I've seen that movie 100 times.

The Battle Hymn of the Republic was sung by the construction guys hoisting the erection in Woody Allen's Everything You Wanted To Know About Sex ...".

The best Battle Hymn of the Republic that I have heard is sung by Stryper. I play it every year.

In Yankee stadium it’s changed to Kate Smith singing ‘God Bless America’. Everyone stands and acts like that’s the National Anthem.

The final verse is especially meaningful these days when we are staring down the loaded barrel of Islamist terror, which has the stated goal of establishing a global caliphate.

Thank you to all of the men and women who are standing now “Between their lov’d homes and the war’s desolation” so that we can remain free.

O, thus be it ever when freemen shall stand,
Between their lov’d homes and the war’s desolation;
Blest with vict’ry and peace, may the heav’n-rescued land Praise the Pow’r that hath made and preserv’d us as a nation! Then conquer we must, when our cause. it is just,
And this be our motto: “In God is our trust”
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

Here's a nice video about what's right and good in America from an American company that's obviously not trying to be PC.

And where is that band who so vauntingly swore That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion A home and a country should leave us no more?

Liberals?
